Maverick Gunner is an ex Navy pilot turned FMX (Freestyle Mopedcross) legend. He first showed up at the Metal Mulisha Compound in April of 2008. We knew his skills on a moped were sweet from the start, but ever since he started training at the compound every day he stepped it up to the next level. Now he's officially on the team!
Here's a list of accomplishments for the Mav:
1981- Stunt double for Lorie Laughlin in the movie "Rad." He played her part for the "send me an angel" bike/dance at the high school prom.
1986- Became a well know dance choreographer for his stellar performance in Rick Astley's "never gonna give you up," Maverick taught his moves to Rick step by step. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yu_moia-oVI
1994- Arrested for whooping Damon Bradshaw's ass...claimed Damon stole his hair cut. http://www.motoxschool.com/images/damonbradshaw.GIF
1999- got a job racing at the Costa Mesa Speedway riding on a sidecar for the KFC/super bowl chicken team.
1999- Started riding freestyle when he saw the first ever Metal Mulisha jump show. Later that night he started practicing his moves in his 1971 El Camino.
