The Bear's bio in his own words:

I was Born and raised in Simi Valley, CA, and now living in Maui, Wailuku, Hawaii. I started training in 1996 at Beverly Hills Ju-Jit-Su, getting my Purple Belt from my Sensei Marcus Vinicius. I then starting Training with Bas Ruten in 1999! I hold the UAGF Heavyweight Belt and also hold the UK Cagewars Heavyweight Belt when I won the fight against Remco Pardo! I think my Record is 35-15-1!! In 2001 I was ranked 3rd in the world in King of The Cage! I now coach and still fight living here in Maui, HI. Since moving out here a year and a half ago, I put together a team of top fighters and now we are called the Maui Mulisha here in the islands, and in that time I have 2 Top Heavyweight fighters under me: Lolohea who is Togan, and Analu Brash who is Hawaiian. They are quickly becoming well known in the MMA world!!! Also in my years I've body guarded and trained Brian Deegan since 1996 when Deegan use to race Supercross and when he won the race at Los Angeles Coliseum! My Quest in life is to be the best I can be if its fighting, coaching, bodyguarding or just giving back all the knowledge I've picked up throughout all my years of experience in life! Being true to your family and friends and not being a poser or fallover, but trying to be a lender is what I truly believe is a must in life!
