Dani G is a rising Tattoo artist, and Metal Mulisha star! Originally from Hawaii, and now an Orange County native, has used her tattoo inspiration to create some over the top awesome Maidens Tees. We followed up with Dani after our first collaboration to see what she’s been up to since we last talked. Check out our exclusive interview!

What’s been going on in your life recently?

I’ve been really busy with tattooing. I‘ve had a lot more appointments, and I’ve been drawing a ton more this year. And I have been doing a little bit of modeling.

The Mulisha Maiden design team said that you are working on some new designs for a 2014 line, How stoked are you about that?

I am extremely stoked about my 2014 line. I was really excited to hear that and I wasn’t expecting it at all. I really try to push Metal Mulisha on a lot of people here in Hawaii, and back at home. Everyone is really excited for me, and I have a lot of support from people in Hawaii. I really like to represent for them, so it was really exciting for me to do another series. It’s exciting and kind of overwhelming because you guys are a big brand and I’m super appreciative and grateful for that.

It’s the number one best-selling tee for Metal Mulisha Maidens of all time. That’s a pretty huge accomplishment. Do you know what stores it is going to be carried in?

I heard it’s going to be in a lot of Macys, Tilly’s, some individual boutiques. Some are in Macy’s already!

How has the experience after the interview with Metal Mulisha changed everything for you?

Well a lot has changed. I am a lot busier from it, and more people have been contacting me through your website which has been rad, and a lot of people have been contacting me for designs and tattoos. It has been awesome.

Has anything come out of the stuff you did for Metal Mulisha? Are you going to do any conventions or do you have any other big plans?

Individually it has helped me a lot. I’ve been getting more publicity and I want to keep that ball rolling. On my own, I want to be doing more conventions, I’ve been trying to get more of my stuff out there and get more involved this year. It has been an unreal experience, and has really pushed me to become a better artist, and kind of put my name out there.

What was it like seeing your T-shirt in Macy’s?

Oh my god it was so awesome! You know when you design something for a brand, you’re like, okay my names gonna be on it, but actually going to the store and seeing it was reallllly cool. I know a lot of people design stuff for brands, but they don’t have their name on it. So seeing my name was just awesome, I can’t even describe it.

Do you have paparazzi car chases?

Are you crazy? NOOO! Hahhaa!

Have you met Lady Gaga?

Not yet!

Have you seen anybody wearing it around the island yet?

No, not yet. But this one girl is so cute, she posted on her Instagram that she went out and bought it. And some other people have texted my sister saying “Oh my god, I didn’t know your sister designed it”.

We’re also loving this old school video of MM founder Brian Deegan that we found in the archive. A far cry from the old days of being a punk rocker with a dirt bike, going against the grain and ticking off the establishment, life for freestyle motocross star Brian Deegan has come full circle. Father to three young kids — Hailey, Haiden and Hudson — Deegan has been finding himself at the mini bike track or the races more often on the weekends because his oldest son, Haiden, is following in his footsteps by riding dirt bikes and racing karts.

This October we wanted to teach you how to create your very own Metal Mulisha Maidens Posh Pumpkins! Get the super easy DIY steps below to add some glitz and glamour to your life!

Supplies Needed:
-3 pumpkins
-1 can of pink spray paint
-1 can of black spray paint
-Black glitter
-Pink glitter
-Adhesive spray glue
-1 paper Mulisha stencil (optional)

How To Do It Yourself:

Step 1: Spray paint your pumpkins! We choose to spraypaint our large pumpkin hot pink, the medium pumpkin half black half pink, and the smallest pumpkin all black.

Step 2: Glitterfy your pumpkins! We sprayed some adhesive spray glue onto the painted pumpkins and then poured glitter all over.

Step 3: To go one step further, print out your own Metal Mulisha Maidens stencil and spray paint that bad boy on!
