MMteam

jeremy-twitch-stenberg Alright, so we have been getting a lot of questions and rumors about “ is Twitch really leaving the Metal Mulisha?” So, we definitely owe you as much of a response as we can. We can’t thank Twitch enough for his years of dedication to Metal Mulisha and his role in getting M/M to where it is today. Everyone wishes him the best of luck in the future with whatever his plans and goals are outside of being involved with the Metal Mulisha may be. To us, Twitch will always be part of the M/M family and we support him in his decision to explore those opportunities. Twitch will definitely be missed as a member on the team, and the majority of the team will continue to have a close relationship with Jeremy.

We know this doesn’t really clear everything up, but we want to keep it positive even though it’s a tough situation, rather than get some soap opera junk started. This isn’t “reality TV” here, it’s reality, and sometimes reality sucks. Below is the official statement you’ll probably see on other web sites pretty soon, but we wanted you guys to hear something from us here on metalmulisha.com first. Thanks everyone of you for your continued support! The Mulisha will keep kicking ass in 2011 and beyond–we guarantee it!

We thank Twitch for his years of dedication to Metal Mulisha and wish him the best of luck in the future. While his current plans extend beyond being part of our team, we support him in the decision he has made to explore those opportunities, and hope it will not change the close relationships he has with others in the Mulisha family.

Since day one, we have been committed to our riders, fighters, and the growth of the Mulisha lifestyle, and that grassroots dedication will not change. Most importantly, we recognize and appreciate the loyalty of our dedicated fans who have made Mulisha the dominant force it is today.

Metal Mulisha has always been about our team, a passionate and enthusiastic group not based upon any one individual rider or athlete. We’re set for an exciting year ahead — thanks for joining us on the ride!

FlashBack

Started from the ground up in 1999 by Deegan and Linkogle, the Metal Mulisha has grown into the biggest, best and most bad-ass action sports team in the world. Not only do we kick ass, but we have the best Freestyle Motocross team in the world, MMA Championship Fighters, Offroad Race Truck Drivers, BMX Cup Winners and many more fields of athletes ready to become part of the Mulisha Domination. Metal Mulisha is an unstoppable force that is blanketing it’s way around the world and with the support of our loyal and dedicated fans, we will continue to dominate anything in our path!

For the year of 2010 with the Metal Mulisha a lot went down for the team. Trying to sum up a year on nothing but bad ass things would take forever. We are going to sum up this year with some of our video highlights of Metal Mulisha Domination in 2010. In the beginning of January we kicked off this crazy idea we had… our 2010 Poaching Campaign, which spread us around the United States getting tickets, chased and sometimes arrested, making a successful year of Poaching!

We also started to film for our new Metal Mulisha film Black Friday. As 2010 continued to pass into other months throwout the year, we continued to film at some really remote locations and captured some of the sickest tricks on natural terrain! Here are a few scenes in this video from the first few spots we have been to.

After January we continued to take on the year on heading out to locations all over the world. We even got to make a stop and kick it with the Blue Angels at the El Centro Airshow. That was pretty sick and they took Fluffer & Agee up for a full on TOPGUN status ride along.

February 9th, 2010 marked the one year anniversary of the passing of our teammates and friend, Jeremy Lusk. The whole team arrived early at the Mulisha Compound to spend the day together and remember Lusk’s legacy. The guys couldn’t wait to ride, so they quickly geared up and went straight for the ramp for a good remembrance of Jeremy.

We also lost a good friend and Metal Mulisha family member this year. Mark Smith, passed away Friday May 14th, 2010, at his home in Maui, Wailuku, Hawaii. This tragedy and loss will never be forgotten. Mark will always be in our hearts now and forever. RIP BEAR watch over the rest of us as you will always be in our thoughts and prayers.

Deegan has really taking on the year of 2010. From XGames 16 Speed & Style / Rally & SuperRally, his new appearance in NASCAR, Lucas Oil Offroad Racing, Driver of the Year Award, Deegan VS Deegan, and many more … the General has no limitations on stopping and continues to Dominate everything he touches!

The 2010 Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival Tour straight up kicked ass! The tour stretch across the USA hitting major stops of chaos when we went ramp-to-ramp to live music in the middle of the pits in front of thousands and thousands of fans! Here is a little taste of how it went down.

For XGames 16 Mulisha Nation was tagged all our Los Angeles, CA. The Mulisha team defiantly made our presence known in all of the competitive categories.

There was a unfortunate mishap with Jimmy Fitzpatrick before his XGames 16 appearance. Check out the video on what happened with Fitz 9 days before X.

They say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, but when the Metal Mulisha heads to the “city of sin” it’s hard not to talk about what is going on. The Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORS) returned to Las Vegas Motor Speedway last weekend for round 14 but this time Brian Deegan made a few changes to the Metal Mulisha Race Team Schedule by adding a Pro2 Truck under the tent.

Brian Deegan

Deegan made his way onto the freshly prepped track in his #38 ProLite truck ready to step up to the top of the podium. Deegan, Brandt and Hart have all been going head to head each race. As usual the “General” smoked everyone right off the start and kept a solid line throughout each lap.

Brian Deegan

Brandt ran into electrical issues and had to pull out of the race, which left it up to Deegan and Hart to race for the finish. Deegan opened up a huge lead, as he ran a flawless race and stepped right up to a first place podium finish!

Brian Deegan

After Deegan’s finish in Prolite, he made his way back into the pits and hopped into the new Pro2 850hp truck! This class has been the highlight of the LOORS series with some of the best drivers period!

Brian Deegan

Deegan was more than ready and as the flag waved green he managed to fight his was up to the front holding second place. Deegan got caught up in turn seven on the track but pushed it hard into turn eight fighting his way back into the second place position.

Brian Deegan

The fans where pumped, and it was a standing audience as the #38 Metal Mulisha Pro2 was hauling ass trying to get back into his position for a shot at the podium. The checkered flag fell, and for his second Pro2 race ever, he pulled off a forth place finish! This race should have given the rest of the drivers what the “General” really has up his sleeve.

Brian Deegan

Hailie Deegan and Brooke Kawell put both their Karts to there limits on the track. The two young “Dirt Princesses” where all ready to go and show the boys up on the track what’s up. Hailie was tearing the dirt up in her #438 Junior 2 Kart pushing her into a good pack of Kart’s up front.

Hailie Deegan

With dad and mom spotting she pulled into the inside corner pushing her way into a solid fifth place finish.

The Deegans

Teammate Brooke Kawell is known for running fast times and has nothing but assurance that she will smoking half the boys she goes against. Brooke put up a solid race in her Modified Kart and is is ready for more action for the next race in Arizona.

Hailie Deegan

Twitch in his #88 truck and OX in his #2 General Tire Prolite truck rolled threw the pit onto the track ready to battle it out for a shot at the podium in the Super Lite Class. Twitch basically smoked everyone and pushed his was up front with OX trailing in forth behind him.

Twitch & OX

OX was hit and rolled coming off the jump out of turn six, ending his race with a pretty nasty hit from another driver launching into the drivers side of his truck. He was taken off the track by medics to be evaluated. Up front, Twitch held a solid win which vaulted him into the championship lead with a 22-point lead into the final round at Firebird.

Twitch Podium

Cameron Steele started out with a nice front start, grabbing the early lead on his opponents. Steele managed to pull away in his #916 Pro Buggy Unlimited and take a consistent line which placed him up on the podium! Cameron Steele had another great weekend race picking up his second win of the season!

Cameron Steele

Right behind Steele in the Limited Buggy class was Justin “Bean” Smith who once again proved himself up on top of the podium taking maximum points on the day, doubling his lead in the championship from seven to fourteen points with just one regular season race left!

Jeff Kargola

After the LOORS race OX’s leg continued to swell up pretty bad. He meet up with Dr. G from the AFMXA who told OX he had Compartment Syndrome. This syndrome is the compression of nerves, blood vessels, and muscle inside a closed space (compartment) within the body. This leads to tissue death from lack of oxygenation; the blood vessels being compressed by the raised pressure within the compartment. OX went into surgery and is doing fine, relaxing and resting up.

Jeff Kargola
