Transworld just posted a killer little video featuring Twitch, Maddo and others out in the Temecula hills doin’ work on some wet dirt jumps. This is what freeriding is all about.
We had Rambo out there shooting video too, but he’s on vacation for the holiday, so you’ll have to wait a little bit for our footage, but you can look forward to a ton of sick new footage on metalmulisha.com in 2009!
So much Metal Mulisha web awesomeness is floating around now days it’s just about impossible to keep up with it all! That’s why these big ass posts with a little bit of everything kick ass! Now I see why Racer X has Racerhead and TWMX has Kickstart. Maybe we should make up a sweet name and pick a day for these big updates? Any ideas for a name?
Anyways, here ya go….
Last week was the annual A Day in the Dirt event. Deegan and Sani were out there burning laps and kicking ass in the Team Stunt Man Class. They got 2nd place while rocking jeans and flannels, but we heard there was some drama about the 1st place guys cheating, so with that info we declare Deegan and Sani the rightful winners!
In his never-ending quest for the “scoop,” Leyba broke new grounds on scooping and scooped us on our own Christmas card 2 weeks before Christmas! He’s getting good! So I guess we have to post it too. Merry Christmas!
Keeping to the holiday spirit, here’s Ox Clause getting jolly at Deegan’s Compound. Getting even more into the holiday, you should go into the Metal Mulisha Online Store and buy stuff for everyone you know to prove that you love them. If not you’re a horrible person, in which case, just go buy stuff for yourself and screw everyone else! Enter coupon code MMXMAS for 10% OFF your order!
TWMX made it out to the compound last week and captured the new jumps for your photo viewing enjoyment. If this doesn’t get you pumped to ride then check out this photo gallery. If that doesn’t do the trick then you’re dumb.
Oh damn, more from EXPN…Maddo is in training mode. Watch out Vegas!
Jeremy Lusk is the 2008 FMX Rider of the Year! If you check out the latest Transworld MX you’ll see Lusk on the cover, followed by a new Metal Mulisha ad (below), a New Era Mulisha ad, an Osiris ad, and 9 pages of interview!
Faisst and Fluffer headed up North to Santa Rosa for a signing at Eminent Clothing. Looks like those guys must be pretty damn cool ’cause there was a bunch of people that came of to see them! Thanks to Eminent Clothing and all the people that came and hung out!
We just added a new Metal Mulisha Maiden…her name is Monica, she’s hot, likes to party hard and has tatts! What more could you ask for?
Read the headline: FMX Rider of the Year - Jeremy Lusk! Enough said. If you ever had any doubt then just read off this list of Lusk’s accomplishments for 2008. There’s probably plenty more, but at this point we can’t even keep up with all his wins!

Along with the honor of being dubbed FMX Rider of 2008, Lusk will grace the cover of the January 2009 issue of TransWorld Motocross, which hits newsstands next week. We’ll probably get in trouble, but we said screw it and scanned in the cover so you guys could be the first to see it!
Here’s a quick list of accomplishments we put together from this year for each guy. Hopefully we didn’t forget any, but we probably did since there are so damn many!
And while you’re at it, we think you should VOTE for Jason Lawrence for Racer of the Year. Although he’s not a Mulisha team rider, he won the 125 West and then got kicked out of the AMA Outdoor Series in full Mulisha style. Plus, we think it would be sick if J-Law upset James Stewart for the win!
