Dew Tour Orlando Qualifying!

Jeremy Lusk
We’re out here in Orlando for the final Dew Tour round of the year! Maddo is pre-qualified along with Adam Jones and Bilko (top 3 in points), but Bilko is hurt so that left 8 spots open in the Sunday finals for the qualifiers. Qualifying was this afternoon and the Mulisha dominated the top spots! Jeremy Lusk rode solid and took the #1 spot followed by Beau Bamburg and a motivated Jeff OX Kargola in 3rd for his first Dew tour Finals this year. Also pulling of a spot in the Finals was Derek Garland…and he qualified in 5th! Faisst picked up the 6th spot after battling with an injured knee. Congrats to the crew for kicking ass!

Now we have 2 days of down time until the finals…everyone is relaxing and getting ready to head to XLR8 for the signing tonight, then we might cause a ruckus at some of Orlando’s tourist attractions on Friday and Saturday. We’ll keep ya updated!

LG Action Sports - Twitch Repeats!

Twitch
Jeremy Twitch StenbergThe LG Action Sports FMX World Championships is always a good show and always has one of the most difficult and technical course of the year. This year’s course featured a dirt 6 pack, a ramp to dirt double double section, and one stand alone ramp jump. The field of 12 riders consisted of 7 Mulisha riders! The birthday boy, Twitch, came into this event wanting to give himself the perfect birthday present by winning his second LG event in a row. Ox, Potter, Faisst and Cam were eliminated in the first head-to-head round, with Twitch, Lusk, and Maddo moving on. Unfortunately, Lusk and Maddo’s hopes of winning their first LG World Championship would end in round 2. Both were really close but when it’s left up to the judges you never know what they’re gunna do!

Robbie Maddison - TwitchTwitch advanced to the three man finals with Beau Bamburg and Adam Jones. The technical course design limited the amount of big banger tricks, leaving it up to smooth style, tricking on every jump including the smaller hip jumps, and flawless execution…all skills that Twitch has mastered! Twitch threw down a solid run with a good variety of right side up tricks and throwing a flip variation off of each dirt jump in the dirt 6 pack including the hips that go into the big dirt doubles! This gave him the edge over Jones and Bamburg, allowing him to take home his second straight LG Championship! Needless to say, it was one hell of a birthday for Twitch! Congrats!

LG Action Sports This Weekend!

Jeff KargolaThe LG Action Sports FMX World Championships is this weekend! This is always a solid event with some big ass jumps. Twitch is the defending champ so he’s looking for a repeat for sure, but Lusk, Potter and Maddo have been on their game lately, while Faisst, Ox, Taka, Sincs, Garland and Fitz are looking to qualiy and make a statement! It’s gunna be good so make it out to the LA County Fairgrounds in Pomona and check it.

All the guys were out at Deegan’s house yesterday practicing for the contest…just so happens we shot a shit load of photos and put them up for your enjoyment! Check it!

You Decide: TransWorld FMX Rider of the Year Awards!

Go to TransWorld MX and VOTE for the FMX Rider of the Year! 4 out of the 9 riders are Metal MulishaTwitch, Robbie Maddison, Jeremy Lusk and Todd Potter! Maddo has a big lead right now, but keep voting because you never know what could happen. Keep the Mulisha riders on top because, in any order, they deserves to go 1, 2, 3 & 4!

Here’s a quick list of accomplishments we put together from this year for each guy. Hopefully we didn’t forget any, but we probably did since there are so damn many!

And while you’re at it, we think you should VOTE for Jason Lawrence for Racer of the Year. Although he’s not a Mulisha team rider, he won the 125 West and then got kicked out of the AMA Outdoor Series in full Mulisha style. Plus, we think it would be sick if J-Law upset James Stewart for the win!

SLC Punks - Dew Tour Finals!

Robbie Maddison Dew Tour
Jeremy Lusk Dew TourRobbie Maddison, Jeremy Lusk, Ronnie Faisst, and Todd Potter held it down for the Mulisha in the Dew Tour finals! Lusk put in an awesome first run, landing him in second place for the majority of the finals. That is until Maddo put in the solid run he was looking for. While it wasn’t enough to take the win, Maddo’s run earned him a second place finish. Faisst looked back at home in the finals, riding with smooth and explosive style. His efforts were good for a seventh place result. Congratulations to Maddo and Lusk for bringing home second and third place!

Metal Mulisha Grenade GloveThe real story of the event wasn’t just the two podium finishes, but Todd Potter’s excessive punishment for giving the Mulisha some glove love. Potter has been wearing the sick new Metal Mulisha gloves made by Grenade, which features the Metal Mulisha written down the middle finger. In true SLC punk Mulisha style, Potter decided to show he world the glove with a 1 finger salute LIVE on air for the NBC cameras. The FCC complained and the powers that be ended up fining Potter $5,000, banning him from riding the Orlando Dew Tour stop, and taking away 25 points. What a crock of shit! Let Potter Ride!

SLC Punks - Dew Tour Prelims!

Robbie MaddisonThe Metal Mulisha domination continued in Salt Lake today during FMX prelims. Four of the seven qualifying positions belonged to Mulisha family. Maddo qualified the highest of the group in second place followed by Potter and Lusk. Faisst made his first final of the year, qualifying third out of the second round…not bad for a guy who needs an ACL replacement in his knee! Ox missed the finals by just 1 spot. Garland went down in practice when he slipped a foot peg on a huge whip. He walked away without injury but was really sore for the qualifying round. Perhaps a special young lady in the SLC area would like to give him a massage to help loosen him up? Hit him up on MySpace! Finals are set to kick off Saturday morning at 11:30am.

Metal Mulisha Rocks ASR!

ASR Trade Show is the bi-yearly big dick competition between all the lame-ass brands out there in the “industry.” Everyone gets drunk, parties too hard for their britches, and goes home with a moral hangover. Somewhere in between all the debauchery, sales guys try to sell their junk. Most brands don’t sell shit ‘cuz they just plain suck, and make fools of themselves because they’re not used to staying up past bedtime drinking.

The Mulisha is a whole other story. We’ve been partyin’ wide open for 10 years! Now our shit sells itself…which gives us even more time to go BIG! We can’t speak of the after hours stupidity, but here are a few photos from the show and a video of our ESP Guitars giveaway! HUGE thanks to our bro Adam Duce, the bass player from Machine Head, for flying out to party and judge the guitar contest! Our new #1 Mulisha fan “Striker,” AKA “Loose Tooth,” rocked out so hard that Adam awarded him one of the custom painted ESP Mulisha guitar!
