Jay Schweitzer and Mike McEntire of Powerband Films has released an official trailer for his latest film, “On the Pipe 6.” Powerband films has created a masterpiece series of the most epic riding shots and locations around the world. Some of these locations include the US, Europe and Australia and they have witnessed the most awesome display of free-riding ever, which is brought to you in OTP6. Originally set to release on iTunes on December 22, the release date has been pushed back to February 15. The Crusty Demons ‘Thirst 4 Destruction Tour’

Last Saturday night, the Crusty Demons ‘Thirst 4 Destruction’ Tour took off in Perth, Australia at the Burswood Dome. The 12,000 FMX fans filled the stadium and prepared to witness one of the biggest FMX shows period. Deegan, Jacko, Taka, Maddo and Seth Enslow will be going huge in the Aussie homeland. Taka wins the Redbull XRAY Contest

Taka head out to Australia to meet up with Cam Sinclair and Maddo for one of the best FMX events of the year, the Red Bull XRAY presented by Robbie Maddison himself! Over 15,000 screaming fans lined up at the Razorback Ranch to see these riders go head to head.

Hometown hero and event creator, Robbie Maddison, qualified first in the FMX sector of the event and it looked as though we’d see a repeat of last year’s run to the top, but Maddison had some stiff competition from Taka Higashino!

In the end, it came down to a battle between Taka and Maddo as they went head-to-head in the final. Taka went huge and took the final win in freestyle and scored second place in Speed and Style.

The nominees have been announced for the 1st Annual TransWorld Motocross Awards presented by Rockstar Energy Drink, and it’s no surprise that there are a ton of Metal Mulisha riders on the ballot! The winners will be named October 8, 2009 at the Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas the day before the 2009 U.S. Open begins.

The Readers Choice Award is probably the most prestigious of the awards because it all up to you, the fans, to vote for your favorite rider of the year. It goes with out saying, but I’ll say it anyway, get over there and vote for your favorite Metal Mulisha rider!

X Fighters London Finals

Well, Red Bull X Fighters didn’t quite go as planned. Twith got taken out by young Levi in the quarters because he messed up on a cordova flip. Without the mistake Twitch definitely would have been heading to the semi’s and the finals. Oh well, not bad for not riding after X Games and just coming straight to London!

Robbie Maddison made it to the semi finals. He beat Rebeau in the quarters. Unfortunately Rebeau cased the back side of a landing on a flip after getting a flat front tire. Rebeau is fine other than the big hole in his bottom lip. Next up for Maddo was Nate Adams. It was a close call, but Adams beat out Maddo and eventually won the event.

Sucks the boys didn’t finish better, but they rode like bad asses and all in all it was a good event.

Sorry for lack of cool photos. Was mostly filming video for the next web vid and the upcoming Metal Mulisha DVD…that’s right, the new Metal Mulisha DVD is in the works!
