Ever since Jeff “OX” Kargola did the Baja 500 earlier this year and placed a respectable 12th place, Ox has been hooked on riding in Baja. Once he decided he was going to race the Baja 1000 he went and bought a CRF450X, tricked it out with ProMoto Billet off-road parts, and went M.I.A. in Mexico. He was down there for weeks at a time pre-running and preparing for one of the gnarliest races in the world.
Well, all the time, money, pre-running and hard work paid off! Ox’s team finished 5th place in the Open Pro class! Instead of hoping for photos and an update from Ox after the race, we sent down the Metal Mulisha van with Big D (the Mulisha Sales Manager) and armed him with a video camera…check the vid and see how it all went down.
Brian Deegan was out at the CORR races in Pomona this weekend holding it wide open and slamming bumpers with some of the best Pro Lite drivers in the world. On Saturday Deegan was running up front in the top 5, but he got spun out near the end of the race and had to settle for 10th. On Sunday Deegan moved up a few spots to finish in 7th. Congrats Deegs!

The opening round of the Outdoor Motocross series is tomorrow at Glen Helen and Deegan will be out there with his Rockstar/Makita/LeDuc Pro Lite truck signing autographs at the CORR tent at 11AM. Head out there, meet Deegs and watch some of the fastest dudes on dirt bikes battle it out!
Also, make sure to rock your Mulisha gear as we’ll have some undercover troops out there handing out stickers to anyone they see in Mulisha!
Deegan was out at State Line, Primm, NV over the weekend suffering through the triple digit heat and battling it out in the CORR Lites Class! Deegan improved a ton since his debut weekend in Pomona where he finished 16th and 14th in his first two races. This weekend in Primm he posted two top 10 finishes in only his 3rd and 4th ever races!
On Saturday Deegan met and exceeded his goal of a top 10 finish! After a disappointing qualifying in 23rd, Deegan busted out the hair clippers and shaved a Mohawk in hopes of bringing back that pissed-off attitude he’s infamous for in the main event. Apparently what was just what the barber ordered–Deegan overcame that 23 starting position and battled through the pack for a hard-fought 6th place finish! On Sunday Deegan qualified 11th and finished the main event in 9th…two top 10 finishes in his second weekend of racing! After these strong results Deegan sits 9th in the CORR Lite overall points standings. “Each time I get onto the track I feel like I am learning and improving,” said Deegan. “This week I broke into the top 10 and next time out I’m hoping to make top 5.”
Brian Deegan is once again teaming up with off-road legend Larry Roeseler and the OC Pools crew this Saturday at the MORE Toys for Tots 200 in Barstow, CA. Deegan will be driving a portion of the 200 mile race in the OC Pools Class 1 car. If you can make it out there bring a new unwrapped toy to help the cause!
