Deegan is building his new house and riding compound as we speak, complete with a double level pool with a grotto and swim up bar, a big guest house/work shop, 21 acres of land and a 50′ x 50′ foam pit! Robbie Maddison was out at Lake Elsinore MX Park today getting ready for his world record jump in Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve. Maddo went 301 feet on his Honda 500 today…5th gear pinned and that’s as far as it would go! Tomorrow they are re-gearing the bike–dropping 2 teeth on the rear sprocket–and going for the record!

We’re going to tease you and not show the jump, but you’ll be able to see the record live on ESPN when the clock strikes midnight!
