Racer X just put up a sick video featuring Twitch and Jeremy McGrath throwing down at Ocotillo Wells. Check it!

Ocotillo Wells with Twitch & McGrath
Ocotillo Wells & Ox’s B-Day

Even after Ox’s big Baja 1000 performance, he still couldn’t get enough of the desert, only this time he wanted to do a little freestyle! So he dusted off his FMX bike and headed out to Ocotillo Wells for the Thanksgiving weekend. After the rain we scored some very rare perfect Ocotillo dirt and found some sick new hits.

After sessioning the mud hills for days, we pinned back to civilization to celebrate Ox’s 25th B-Day! Here Ox, Trigger, Fluffer, PAB and the crew torture a helpless drunken grommet with a beer bath. Good times!

Ocotillo Wells Day Trip

After the rains in So Cal over the weekend everyone decided to load up for a mid-week trip to Ocotillo Wells with hopes of some nice wet dirt. While the dirt wasn’t as good as we had hoped (a little dry and dusty), we still had a solid crew out there ready to hit some kickers!
Twitch, Faisst, Lusk, Taka and Nate Adams headed out the night before and roughed it in Twitch’s motorhome so they could get to riding first thing in the morning. That didn’t work out so well since Deegan, Ox, Garland and Maddo all came out in the morning for a day trip and were the first to gear up and get on the bikes!
Twitch had a big step up that he wanted to hit near camp, so that was the first jump of the day. After a little shoveling it was prime to hit. Garland sacked up first and hit it…and he over jumped the shit out of it! Please see diagram below:

Here Twitch demonstrates how it’s done….

Next it was out to this off-camber spine jump, made famous by Clowers in some old Crusty movie. Twitch, Lusk and Maddo made quick work of this thing.

Lusk goin’ big on the spine. Get this photo as a wallpaper!

Twitch and Lusk look on as Maddo pays homage to Evil Knievel with Evil’s patented boner air!

Deegan decided to keep it real and throw some old school flatty one leggers off this hip. Pretty sick. Get the wallpaper here.

Ox threw down on the hip with a sketchy-ass sandy landing! Yes, once again, we have a wallpaper for ya!

Nobody hits this jump like Twitch!

Ox… this looks WAY bigger in person.
Twitch had Dawes and the crew out there getting some last minute footage for his upcoming video, Garth was out there from Transworld, and you know Tedesco got a ton of good stuff. All-in-all a sick trip! More to come…
Ocotillo Wells Video Edit
We went to Ocotillo Wells last week. We got photos and now we have video too. Enjoy.
Ocotillo Wells Photo Shoot!

Last week we rallied everyone up and loaded Twitch’s motor home with the essentials (dirt bikes, beer and food) and headed out to Ocotillo Wells to ride and camp for a couple days. With rain pouring on the coast we thought for sure it would be windy as hell in the desert, but fortunately there was no wind and it was perfect weather for riding, photos and shooting for Twitch’s upcoming video. Even better was no crowds or dust…Wednesday and Thursdays are empty out there!
Getting a bunch of the guys together and out in the desert is something that doesn’t happen very often, especially with everyone’s busy schedules now days. We didn’t get everyone out there, but it was still a solid crew with Twitch, Luskington, Potter, Ox, Garland, Manley, Fluffer and Fitzpatrick! Myles Richmond and Tommy Clowers also came out to hang and ride for the day.
Good times were had by all and we found some sick jumps along the way. Pictures speak louder than words, so here are a bunch of photos! We’re saving the best for ads, catalogs and stores, but don’t worry, some sick wallpapers are coming soon!

Rain in Cali…Finally!
Well, we got some rain in so-cal this weekend in the first time in what feels like years! So we took full advantage of the wet dirt and went riding the hills! Someone had the bright idea to go ride Ocotillo Wells on Saturday (Ox), the day after the big rain. Everyone know that if it’s cloudy and raining by the coast then it’s windy as hell in Ocotillo. Still, that didn’t stop Ox and Trigger from rallying at 4AM on Saturday to head out to the desert.
As expected we pulled up to chocolate cake dirt off Pole Line Road, probably the best ever, but with 40+ mph winds! It made for one of the best Ocotillo trail rides-o-death, but not so good for jumping. The ride back to camp with sand blasting your face wasn’t so cool, so we called it a day and headed home.
On Sunday Ox was MIA, but Trigger was still motivated and ready for a Beaumont session on his Service Honda 500. Derek Garland met us out there and we went on a couple solid hill climb sessions, but again, not much jumping as it was a little too wet. All-in-all a sick weekend of riding wet dirt for a change! Here’s some photos…

Who needs a stand when you can bury you bike in mud?

Goggles were mandatory even off the bike.

Ox really wanted to try out the 4X4 in his new Super Duty so he got stuck…too bad the 4X4 wasn’t enough to get her out!

Trigger’s truck pulled it out no problem.

Don’t ask why, but Ox stopped in the middle of the highway to take this picture…I hear he also likes butterflies, Panda Bears and long walks on the beach!
