ASR Trade Show is the bi-yearly big dick competition between all the lame-ass brands out there in the “industry.” Everyone gets drunk, parties too hard for their britches, and goes home with a moral hangover. Somewhere in between all the debauchery, sales guys try to sell their junk. Most brands don’t sell shit ‘cuz they just plain suck, and make fools of themselves because they’re not used to staying up past bedtime drinking.
The Mulisha is a whole other story. We’ve been partyin’ wide open for 10 years! Now our shit sells itself…which gives us even more time to go BIG! We can’t speak of the after hours stupidity, but here are a few photos from the show and a video of our ESP Guitars giveaway! HUGE thanks to our bro Adam Duce, the bass player from Machine Head, for flying out to party and judge the guitar contest! Our new #1 Mulisha fan “Striker,” AKA “Loose Tooth,” rocked out so hard that Adam awarded him one of the custom painted ESP Mulisha guitar!

And now the photos…enjoy.
EXPN did a loop around the San Diego Convention Center…check their stuff and see how the rest of the show looked.
Remember when Deegan’s new pad was still in the works? Well it’s pretty much all done now…the house, guest house, pool, work shop, and most importantly THE JUMPS! We rolled out there and got some footage of Deegan, Lusk, Potter, Fluffer, and even Lil’ Hanny, breaking in the new setup! Enjoy.
Our friend Eric Johnson caught up with Moto X Gold winner Josh Hansen after the race for an interview on Racer X. Check it out and see what Hanny had to go through to make it to the top spot at X Games.
Coming into the X Games as an alternate and definitely the underdog, Josh Hansen surprised a lot of people with his riding this weekend and came through with one of the biggest wins of his career! Just to get an idea of how huge this is, we’ve heard some pretty staggering top-secret stats that X Games Moto got more TV viewers than all the outdoor motocross races will combined this year–big bikes and lites!
Hanny was training hard for this one and he earned it! Congrats, Hanny!
We caught up with Hanny while burning some laps at the Honda track with McGrath last week in preparation for X Games this weekend. Hansen is an alternate for Moto X Racing, but he’s training for it in case he gets in so he can smoke some fools!
Holy shit X Games is here again! Looks like it’s that time of year again for more Mulisha World Domination! Seems like just last week the Mulisha was dominatingX Games13.
Here’s the full rider list stolen from EXPN. I’m sure there are additions and subtractions from this. Nixey Danielson is an alternate in FMX, and Josh Hansen might be in Moto X Racing as an alternate.

Ash, one of the Metal Mulisha marketing “Guys,” headed out to Mammoth last week with team riders Josh Hansen and Daniel Sani for the annual Mammoth Motocross race. Here’s his report from the weekend:
Last week I got a call from Josh Hansen. When I answered he immediately said “We’re going to Mammy guy!” Josh hooked up a deal to race the Mammoth Motocross on a Factory Troy Lee/Red Bull Honda for the weekend. Next thing you know we’re sitting in a black Escalade on 26” heading up to the 2008 Mammoth Motocross!
Sitting in the passenger seat, we had a lot of catching up to do since Hanny’s recent move back to California from North Carolina. From his departure from Yamaha Joe Gibbs Team to his plans for the 2009 season…Hanny laid it all out. Check the video for more from the man himself.
We got to the mountain Wednesday night. When the sun came up over the snow covered mountain peaks, it was time to hop in the Caddy and meet up with the Troy Lee boys at the track. When we rolled up, Jeff Ward and Josh’s Mechanic were sitting next to his Factory Honda CR450F ready to get the weekend rolling. Josh immediately geared up and charged practice. With his bike already dialed in for the high altitude, Josh left the track with some of the fastest lap times of the day! The Mulisha rider was ready to dominate!
With the sun blazing and a day off until race day, it was time to have some fun. Some highlights included Hanny’s Mini Bike victory at the 1st annual TransWorld Mini Bike Supermoto held in the Village of Mammoth. With a large attendance, his main competition included MM teammate Daniel Sani, Chris Gosselar and some other industry “Yeah Guys.” Other than that there was a session at the skate park, a bar fight where we laced up a 5 local snowboard dorks, and some good laughs with the Rockstar boys, Carey Hart and Sani.
When race day finally arrived, Josh was in 3rd place off the start. He ended up swapping into a tree and cart wheeling his bike into the bushes on the first lap. He was bummed but didn’t let the bad luck bring him down and finished the race with some hard laps. Next year Josh will be racing the Supercross Lites Class. He is pissed and has some big things lined up for the ‘09 season. So look out for Hanny in the Summer X games competing in the Moto X Racing event with something to prove. Check out the video clip and some pics from the weekend below.
After a tough race in the mud at Anaheim 1, Josh Hansen came back strong in Phoenix and broke into the top 10 with an 8th place finish! Congrats, Hanny!
