Garland & Fluff Hit the Big Apple…Hard!

Metal Mulisha New York
Derek Garland and Fluffer are still on the Journeys BBQ Tour and last weekend they were in the Big Apple, New York…no, not Erik. It turns out the weather was pretty shitty and rainy the night before the show and forecasts called for rain the following day. So, with the expectation that the demo would be canceled, the boys hit NYC hard and drank like it was New Year’s Eve 2000! The next day the skies cleared long enough for the Journeys crew to want a demo, so they had to crawl out of bed and ride with hangover’s from hell. Luckily the crowd was solid and the fans made it all worthwhile!

EXPN blog master Ryan Leyba, who recently transplanted to NYC, was on hand and recounted his weekend of debauchery with the Mulisha in his blog…check it!

Yee Haw! Giddy Up!

Ryan HagyIt seems Hagy can’t keep himself from dressing up lately. Find out what went down at the PBR World Finals (not the beer) in Las Vegas straight from the horses mouth:

Well its not everyday that you dress up as a cowboy and ride your dirt bike on live television and in front of 15,000 people. Well if your wondering I was at the world finals of bull riding this weekend in las Vegas. Kenny Bartram, Beau Bamberg and Wiley all joined me to only do one jump pretending to be one of the final four finalist in the event. I know one jump sounds like nothing, but when its in the dark and you’re jumping over fire balls and have to land in a tunnel that is only 6 1/2 feet wide it makes it a bit scary.

The event went well and only lasted about 30 seconds for me, but I was glad that 30 seconds was up. So I decided to have a drink and watch these 150 pound Cowboys ride these 1 ton animals. I have to take my Cowboy hat off to them because what they do makes our sport look a lot safer than it is. -Hagy
