Yet another weekend at CORR and yet another weekend that Deegan is going even faster in his Rockstar/Makita Pro Lite Truck! After talking to some people from other teams in the pits, the general consensus was, “damn, Deegan is going fast!” Unfortunately some bad luck kept the General from finishing on both days, but he’s like a pitbull–he has the taste of blood and he wants on the podium! Watch out, it’s game on! Check the video below and see what Deegs had to say about the weekend….

Brian Deegan was out at the CORR races in Pomona this weekend holding it wide open and slamming bumpers with some of the best Pro Lite drivers in the world. On Saturday Deegan was running up front in the top 5, but he got spun out near the end of the race and had to settle for 10th. On Sunday Deegan moved up a few spots to finish in 7th. Congrats Deegs!

The opening round of the Outdoor Motocross series is tomorrow at Glen Helen and Deegan will be out there with his Rockstar/Makita/LeDuc Pro Lite truck signing autographs at the CORR tent at 11AM. Head out there, meet Deegs and watch some of the fastest dudes on dirt bikes battle it out!
Also, make sure to rock your Mulisha gear as we’ll have some undercover troops out there handing out stickers to anyone they see in Mulisha!

Deegan was out at State Line, Primm, NV over the weekend suffering through the triple digit heat and battling it out in the CORR Lites Class! Deegan improved a ton since his debut weekend in Pomona where he finished 16th and 14th in his first two races. This weekend in Primm he posted two top 10 finishes in only his 3rd and 4th ever races!
On Saturday Deegan met and exceeded his goal of a top 10 finish! After a disappointing qualifying in 23rd, Deegan busted out the hair clippers and shaved a Mohawk in hopes of bringing back that pissed-off attitude he’s infamous for in the main event. Apparently what was just what the barber ordered–Deegan overcame that 23 starting position and battled through the pack for a hard-fought 6th place finish! On Sunday Deegan qualified 11th and finished the main event in 9th…two top 10 finishes in his second weekend of racing! After these strong results Deegan sits 9th in the CORR Lite overall points standings. “Each time I get onto the track I feel like I am learning and improving,” said Deegan. “This week I broke into the top 10 and next time out I’m hoping to make top 5.”

Deegan would like to thank Rockstar, Makita and the LeDucs!

Deegan is racing is second round of CORR racing this weekend in Primm, Nevada at the State Line. In his first race he got robbed of a top 10 finish on the last lap when some donkey spun him out. This weekend the General is out for revenge and redemption!
We will be slingin’ some Mulisha tee shirts and hats and Deegan will be signing autographs in between his races. If you can make it out this weekend it will be sick!

Brian Deegan made his CORR racing debut over the weekend in Pomona. Going into the weekend Deegan only had 1 chance to drive the Rockstar/Makita Pro Lite truck he would be racing, so he really didn’t know what to expect. Normally qualifying lap times would give you a pretty good idea of where you stand, but on Saturday the truck’s transponder wasn’t working so they had him start in the back of the pack for the main, so that sucked.

On the first lap of the main there was a pile up in front of Deegs and he clipped one of the dudes with his front right tire causing a flat. The wheels for the truck are one of a kind so they didn’t have a spare available right away to change the flat. Deegan was forced to drive 3 laps slow as hell with a flat until they could get it changed.

With a fresh tire Deegan got back out there and battled it out with he best of ‘em! Above Deegan, #58, takes the outside line to carry speed into the straight away and pass those fools! He managed to finish 16th.

Sunday, day 2, gave Deegan a new clean slate to qualify and go for it in the main. Deegan qualified 16th out of about 30 trucks! Not bad for his second race!

So Deegan started mid-pack in the main on Sunday…no flats, no excuses, just a truck and track to battle it out. Deegan passed a bunch of guys and by the last lap he was in 7th place! Top 10 just like he wanted. Unfortunately, some dumb ass, #25, that he was battling with decided to go for a takeout maneuver on the back pavement section on the last lap. They both go spun out and got passed by a bunch of trucks. Deegan managed to restart the truck and get back out there to finish 14th, while #25 got what he deserved with a tow truck ride back to the pits.

Over the weekend Deegan headed out to Primm, NV with Cameron Steele, who was testing a Single Buggy, and Curt LeDuc to get in some seat time before his first CORR race April 26-27 in Pomona, CA. The first few practice sessions Deegan got used to the track and truck in a little beater that the LeDuc’s brought out. After that Pro Lite racer Todd Cuffaro was cool enough to let Deegan get behind the wheel of his race truck (the black and red truck) for a few more sessions in a legit truck just like the one he will be racing! Thanks again to Todd for the ride!

The General just stopped by to inform us that he is going to be running the full 2008 Championship Off Road Racing Series (CORR). Deegan will be racing his Rockstar Pro Lite under the same semi as Curt and Kyle Leduc, legends in the off road racing world. The series will air on NBC, so you’ll be able to see him bangin’ bumpers and taking guys out all the time!
We’ll keep you updated with photos and stuff when Deegan starts practicing and testing so check back!
