Golden Takes on Top Gun MX Team Shootout

Metal Mulisha rider Vicki Golden headed up to Washougal, Washington over the long Labor Day weekend to compete in the 2013 Top Gun MX Team Shootout. This annual event held at Washougal MX Park is a highly competitive weekend of racing in which over 30 teams signed up to duke it out for the Top Gun championship. Golden, who had never raced the event before, was invited to race for the PanicRev Ministries A Team, competing in the Women Expert and College Boy classes.

“It was my first time racing the event and I had a lot of fun,” said Vicki when we spoke to her after the weekend concluded. “It was definitely a change of pace for me; way different than racing in California. It was really laid back and just a nice change in scenery for me. I had a really good time and it is certainly something I would do again if I had the chance.”
The Golden Girl dominated the Women Expert class, going 1-1-1 to take the overall win. In College Boy, Golden banged bars with the guys and earned herself a hard fought 7th place overall finish. Golden’s solid performance in both classes helped her team earn enough points to win the Top Gun MX Team Shootout championship! The entire team put on a dominating performance and they all worked together to bring home the Top Gun title for PanicRev Ministries.
