Metal Mulisha Behind the Design – The Admiral

Metal Mulisha has been creating some of the most quality and recognizable glasses in the world. At the Compound we produce high-end eyewear and googles from scratch, creating a perfect style, craftsmanship and function. Each piece is crafted from the finest materials and to standards of excellence in the optical industry. All of our frames are composed of top grade crafted material.

This month we are getting Behind the Design with the new Metal Mulisha sunglasses, the Admiral. We really wanted to make a set of glasses that has the functionality that everyone has always wanted. The Admiral has a light weight frame with a large wrap of Grilamid material. To give range or appearance to our fans and athletes we have two different colors that consist of a Matte Black & Glossy Black.

The first step is done all on paper just like in art class, coming up with a creative design that we feel will fit our athletes, and fans style. From the final draft on paper, our design is then drafted on a computer creating the three dimensional layout before we send it out to the warehouse to create the plastic mold to create a demo model of the product.

After some small changes, modifications and fitting the hinges, the mold is send out for a review by the Metal Mulisha team. The final call comes from Deegan and Linkogle and once the “ok” is said we mail out the mold to the factory to get the final product.

News Flash: Twitch, Deegan, Grant and more

Transworld hung out with Twitch for a day and got tons of new photos of Twitch and his new KX450F. After the California downpour the boys geared up and went riding in the hills. Take a look at some of the photos, the conditions were perfect and the dirt was like chocolate cake! Also if you didn’t see this video yet make sure to check out this unedited video (Dont know why they would ever want to edit this video) that Transworld posted of Twitch and Bilko in “Ask Me a Question“.

Check out this video of Floyd Mayweather walking into the ring for his match versus Juan Manuel Marquez. In the last minute or so you will see Mayweather’s body guards walking out wearing the Metal Mulisha Fallen Tee Shirt! They hit us up for some clothes a while ago and we sent some out, but we had no idea they would rock them at one of the biggest boxing matches in recent history. We’re pretty sure this is the reason Mayweather dominated and won the fight, so for that, you’re welcome Floyd!
