It has been three years today as we lost a friend so close to our hearts. February 9th every year marks the anniversary of Metal Mulisha family member, friend, and one of the greatest freestyle motocross riders that has ever lived, Jeremy Lusk.

Jeremy touched, motivated, and impressed everyone in a unique way while living in his short life of 24 years. He will always be missed and never forgotten.

Ronnie Faisst: “Man… I miss Lusk so much. I think about him all the time. Can’t wait until I see him again! Love you brotha”

Jimmy Fitzpatrick: “Lusk was a bad ass dude! He was one of a kind. I still think God had to take him from us, for bigger things up above. He was a warrior on this world, one of the nicest guys on the planet yet still someone you would never want to piss off. I have so many awesome memories of Jeremy. Tons of riding, traveling all over together, desert trips, double dates, couple fights here and there, you name it. We did it all together. I have and will continue to heavily miss him but do believe strongly that I will see him again! Love ya buddy”

Brian Deegan: “Always had fun with Lusk. He wasn’t scared to bust out skits like Dog the Bounty Hunter”

Derek Garland: “Jeremy Lusk was the most bad ass dude I ever met. I miss you buddy”

Justin Homan: “Cherish the vibes when we rode together in Dubai and putting it down at our MM Redmond events. True to the game….miss you”

To celebrate in his memory, the whole Metal Mulisha team will be gathering today at Pala Raceway to put in a team riding session, hangout and share memories of Jeremy Lusk. We will have a full 2nd Annual Jeremy Lusk Memorial Ride Day photo gallery and video update later on in the day.

The Rockstar Metal Mulisha FMX team will be performing live at Kalaeloa Park, Oahu! You’re invited to attend Moto Mayhem 1, on February 11, 2012. Come on out and watch this three hour event with, X Games medalist Todd Potter, Julian Dusseau, and Nick Dunne as they unleash their arsenal of tricks for all the Hawaiian FMX fans! There will also be a entertaining Hulacross, live local FMX demo, and Motocross race along with a “Meet and Greet” where fans can meet the Metal Mulisha Riders! We recently pack up our bags and flew the distance of 7,717 miles to Jackson Strong’s FMX compound in the small town of Lockhart, Australia.

Jacko’s property rest between the farm lands of Lockhart which sits on 20,000 acres of land filled with Kangaroos, Sheep, and ramps. Jacko had the course prepped and ready to go for the last section of Black Friday with Wes Agee, Jimmy Fitzpatrick, Todd Potter, Rob Adelberg & Truman Carroll.
