A few weeks back Jimmy Hill and Rob Adelberg loaded up the bikes and met up with Parsons, Podmol, Tedesco, and Stephens in the hills of Beaumont California.
The weather couldn’t of been any better and with the dirt still wet after some light showers it was a perfect time to go scout out some new jumps and get shoveling. Check out a few of the shots from the freeriding session.
Jimmy Fitzpatrick holds a prime spot of propriety known to many as “Fitzland” which stretches on 54 acre parcel of land located in the heart of Southern California’s Temecula wine country.
What began years ago was the process of adding 50 foot jumps, 120-foot ramp to dirt jumps, which the escalated to bigger natural terrain jumps reaching 160 feet, and every height in between.
Larry Linkogle sent over some pics from today with Agee, Fitz, Hill, Stephens, and Bell carving out the hillside for a new 120ft jump, and adding more to build up a bunch of new sections at Fitzland.
“The Mulisha team is throwing it down big time, OG style out here digging out the big dogs. Fitz got everyone out here and once this place is all done, it is going to be off the hook!” – Larry Linkogle
“Yeah this place is going to be pretty sick! We are putting in lots of hard work out here, tossing around some water, and moving dirt to make this place as technical as possible. Just have another place to ride and mix it up a bit with the team is always a plus.” – Wes Agee
Metal Mulisha set up in the pits of the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series, underneath the firing sun of Firebird Raceway, located in Chandler Arizona. Deegan was more than ready to defend his Championship title in Pro Lite and Pro 2, Justin Bean Smith moved up in the Pro Lite Class, Todd Leduc kicked things into gears with his Pro 4, Hagy was ready to battle in the OX Super Lite truck along side Larry Linkogle, who was giving this short course racing a shot for his first time ever. The packed house of Arizona fans filled the pits and stands with thousands of people stopping by, grabbing free Rockstar, M/M Gear, and to meet the team!
Saturday Highlights:
Pro 4 - Todd Leduc plowed through the head of the pack as the course went green. Todd went to war with Adrian Cenni as the two battled back and forth. Todd ran out of gas and launched toward the checkered flag holding onto third.
Pro Lite – The Pro Lite field was packed with past champions and a ton of newcomers for a total of 26 entries. Deegan and Bean rolled out of the pits onto the track. As the flagged waved green Bean grabbed the early lead with Deegan making his way up to the front, picking other drivers off. On lap 3 or 4 Bean was side coming out of turn 3 taking the inside avoiding the carnage and launched over the jump, pitching his truck a little sideways and blew his left rear tire.
On the last lap Deegan was on the hunt of the podium while George did some dirty driving, plowing into Deegan’s left rear corner coming into turn four, spinning Deegan out and dropping him several positions. With a outraged crowed, somehow, the incident failed to draw the wrath of the officials, as George picked up non deserving third place.
Super Lite – Ryan Hagy got to the head of the pack early Creed got around Hagy on the restart lap, with Britt also moving up to pass Briley for third.
Larry Linkogle was getting his taste of dirt in his first LOORRS race ever. Larry held it together with the pack, made a few passes and fell short after some mechanical issues after slamming up into the wall. Hagy shoved his way past Briley and hunted him down for the finish and a spot on the podium taking third!
Kart Jr 2 – Hailie ‘Dirt Princess’ Deegan was looking during practice finishing in 1st place and she laid down some good times on qualifying. Hailie battled it out but was caught up into the corner holding her back from a podium finish. Nice job out there Hailie.
Sunday Highlights:
Pro 4 – In the first race after opening ceremonies, the Pro 4 trucks battled it out what would end up being another dominate win by Kyle Leduc. Cenni would lead in the early part of the race but the hard charging Leduc found a way by him. Early in the race Cenni and Leduc came off a jump side by side and Leduc would find himself almost 90 degrees sideways in the air, somehow managing to save it. The close call never made him lose his position, and eventually he recovered to get around Cenni and never looked back. Todd finished third!
Pro 2- Deegan was ready to get on the podium for the final race of the weekend in Pro 2.
This was by far the race of the weekend as all the drivers launched passed the stands, side by side, and fighting for a line to take into the first corner. Brian took full advantage of the course and moved his truck towards the front of the pack.
Deegan pushed hard the last few laps to try and get by Adler. It was the last lap and came down to the last turn with Deegan and Adler side by side, scrubbing, both pushing for every last peak of power towards the checkered flag. Deegan tried to move into the high line off the last jump but Adler wouldn’t give it up and Brian flew across the flag for a second place finish. Nice work Brian that was one hell of a race!
Up next for LOORRS is the grand re-opening in Lake Elsinore with a new track design and what they promise to be a premiere venue for short course offroad. Make sure to come back for a full photo and video update from this weekend.

Last weekend held a packed schedule for the Mulisha team with tons of cool stuff going on! For the first time ever along with a rookie season under our belt, Deegan and Leduc pulled it off during the season placing Metal Mulisha in the Monster Jam World finals!
Todd Leduc took on the Advanced Auto Parts Monster Jam World Finals Challenge in Las Vegas, Friday and Saturday night. The track at Sam Boyd Stadium is the fastest on the circuit, with speeds reaching near 70 mph before heavy braking to make the corner. It can get sketchy! Leduc came out and made his mark, while setting the fastest qualifying time of Friday night with a (16:201) and secured the #1 seed heading into Saturday night’s Finals. It didn’t seem to bother Leduc as he would hold on and beat the best in the business, Pablo Huffaker in the Captain’s Curse Monster Truck. “The Metal Mulisha truck is so fast. I was hitting all of my marks out there tonight, and I am excited for tomorrow night. I would like to thank Brian Deegan for this opportunity.” – Todd Leduc
Todd was ready for Saturday night, and put up a solid race holding some consistent speed in the truck against the 24 truck field lineup. Leduc made it all the way into the round 2 finals of racing, while giving it his best during the run, but fell short on time and was eliminated. Great job and congrats to Leduc for taking on the challenge!

The tradition of the General Tire Mint 400, shifted gears this weekend outside Las Vegas, in the Nevada desert. Ryan Hagy got some time behind the wheel along with our good buddy Ryan Cropley who navigated during the race in the 71Ox truck.
Saturday, Vince DiMaio, Hagy, Cropley and the team got down to business, tackling the grueling terrain of the desert finishing 2nd in the 2012 General Tire Mint 400! Congrats to you all for taking on the Mint and for a solid finish!
Round 12 of the 2012 Monster Energy Supercross Series was held at Rogers Centre in Toronto, Canada. In the Supercross Lites, Kyle Peters looked good in his heat race, finishing a solid sixth and transferring to the main event. In the main, however, Peters suffered a run-in with another rider and wound up finishing 18th. “I came out of a corner and another rider was there, I hit him going wide open and that was it, game over.” – Kyle Peters
In the Supercross class, Bobby Kiniry celebrated his first top-10 result of the season! Although Kiniry made it to the Supercross main with a solid battle in the LCQ, he pulled out all the stops in the 20-lap main event and rode his best race so far this season and brought home a well-earned ninth.
“Ultimately, we just had a good day. I was in the second-turn pile-up in my heat race, so I got into the main through the LCQ. I ended up getting a pretty decent start in the main and rode 20 hard laps. I put myself in a good position in the first 10, and kind of cruised those last 10 to a solid ninth. I’ve been really striving to make the top 10. I’ve been a top-10 guy all my career, and it’s been really frustrating these last few weeks, knowing I belong in the top 10. Now it feels like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders, so I’m really excited to move forward next week in Houston and keep getting up there.” – Bobby Kiniry
Nico Izzi is also racing the Supercross class, but only on the East Coast, because officially he’s campaigning West Coast Supercross Lites. But in the Supercross class at Toronto, Izzi started the evening strong with a fifth-place finish in his heat race. In the main, Izzi was trying to break into the top 10 when he had contact with another rider and aggravated his still-healing wrist. In an effort to remain healthy, he retired for the evening.
Big weekend for the M/M! Congrats to the whole team and make sure to check back for more news, photos, videos, and updates!
Wes Agee… might of heard of him on this years Nuclear Cowboyz tour or from the recent Metal Mulisha movie Black Friday back flipping 190ft. Besides from being a straight up badass and taking FMX to the next level, check out Wes in this ‘30 seconds with Wes Agee‘ video update. Can you say whip…?!
Jacko, Potter, and Truman Carroll took a visit to Melbourne Australia, for the Formula 1 Grand Prix all competing for the $50,000 prize along with the champion title of the Crusty Demons Cup.
The cup ran over a four day schedule. The first two days, Thursday and Friday were just FMX demos which gave the boys plenty of time to practice for Sunday nights competition which left Saturday for qualifying. Up first was ‘Best Whip’ qualifying with whip king himself, Todd Potter, followed by Truman and Pages all making the cut.
Next up was ‘Best Combo’ and the top three finished with Jacko, Truman, and McFerran. Finally there was only qualifying left for ‘Big Air’ and there were five spots. Since Jacko and Potter put on a display of incredible tricks all night, a lot of the other riders knew they didn’t have anything even close to match them, so qualifying was not needed at all.
After three days of windy demos and qualifying sessions the big night finally came and all the riders where ready to raise the bar for the cash prize! Unfortunately, the weather kicked in with some strong inconsistent wind gusts and a massive head wind. The riders decided to at least put on some kind of show for the 8,000 plus fans! First up was ‘Best Whip’ with Potter claiming 2nd with (90.3) in points, and Truman claiming 3rd with a score of (80.6). With the wind not holding him back, Jacko took out ‘Best Combo’ pulling off a huge Ruler-Indy to Side Saddle Lander scoring a solid (90) in points with Truman finishing off this Best Combo run in 3rd with a score of (79).
The inconsistent wind gusts started to pickup even more and it was time to kick off the line up for ‘Best Trick‘ with Loza, Pages, Potter and Jacko. Shit was looking to sketchy and they all made the hard call together deciding it was just to dangerous to go for it. So to everyone’s disappointment riders, organizers, track crew and fans, the comp was cancelled with all prize money ($50,000) split to all ‘Best Trick’ riders. Looks like Jacko will have to put his never before seen trick the ‘Bullet Proof Tiger‘ to rest and save it for another event to show the world.
