Metal Mulisha

This Thursday before the Dew Tour, Jeremy Lusk, Todd Potter, Ronnie Faisst, Ox and Derek Garland will be out at XLR8 in Altamonte, FL, hangin’ out and signing some autographs from 6-8PM! Get your ass out there and meet the Mulisha! Need directions?

Also, while supplies last, with a $20 minimum purchase of Metal Mulisha product from the Altamonte or Orlando XLR8 locations, you will get a FREE “Let Potter Ride” t-shirt…just make sure you rock it when you are at Dew Tour! If you didn’t hear already, Potter got fined $5,000 and was banned from the Orlando Dew Tour stop for throwing the middle finger during his final run. We think it’s a bunch of bull shit, so pick up a t-shirt, have Potter’s back and give the finger to the man!

The Jeremy Carter fundraiser and demo over the weekend at Envy Clothing went off! Fluffer, Ox, Garland, Cameron Steele and I (web dork) headed up North to Atwater, CA, leaving around 4:30am, with little to no sleep, after going big the night before. We arrived in Atwater at Envy around 6 hours later and the skies opened up with a ton of rain! We were definitely worried that the jump show might not go down.

Luckily, the skies cleared, the sun shined up all the rain and we busted out the blow torches to dry the ramps! We have no doubt Carter was looking down and had his part in clearing the weather for his event.

Hundreds of people showed to support Misty (Jeremy’s wife) and son Jaden, pick up some BBQ, deals on clothes, and check the Mulisha FMX demo! Everyone had a great time and we raised thousands of dollars for Carter’s family! HUGE thanks to Darlene and the girls from Envy, Mark Green, Trittler for providing the ramps, Cameron on the mic, all the sponsors, and of course Ox, Fluffer and Garland for signing autographs all day and going big on the ramp-to-ramp!

Misty has a bunch of signed Mulisha boots, jersey’s and gear that she will be putting on eBay soon. When they’re up we’ll post the links so you can score some signed goods and help raise some cash, so keep checking back.

So 1 week ago we offered up this autographed Jeremy Lusk banner to whoever convinced us they deserved it in the blog comments. Well, we got about 280 comments–way more than we expected! We wanted a true Mulisha fan to win, but also wanted to see a ton of funny shit! Read through the comments, there is plenty of funny shit and we like that!

So…drum roll please…the winner is…13 year old Alan Shao!
Alan’s comment was like a lot of other people’s comments, but Alan posted this sick video that he made of him riding in the woods that made the difference! That must have taken some serious time setting up the camera in all those angles, and the YX80 is sick!

The LG Action Sports FMX World Championships is this weekend! This is always a solid event with some big ass jumps. Twitch is the defending champ so he’s looking for a repeat for sure, but Lusk, Potter and Maddo have been on their game lately, while Faisst, Ox, Taka, Sincs, Garland and Fitz are looking to qualiy and make a statement! It’s gunna be good so make it out to the LA County Fairgrounds in Pomona and check it.

All the guys were out at Deegan’s house yesterday practicing for the contest…just so happens we shot a shit load of photos and put them up for your enjoyment! Check it!

The Metal Mulisha domination continued in Salt Lake today during FMX prelims. Four of the seven qualifying positions belonged to Mulisha family. Maddo qualified the highest of the group in second place followed by Potter and Lusk. Faisst made his first final of the year, qualifying third out of the second round…not bad for a guy who needs an ACL replacement in his knee! Ox missed the finals by just 1 spot. Garland went down in practice when he slipped a foot peg on a huge whip. He walked away without injury but was really sore for the qualifying round. Perhaps a special young lady in the SLC area would like to give him a massage to help loosen him up? Hit him up on MySpace! Finals are set to kick off Saturday morning at 11:30am.

And don’t forget about the Adrenaline Hard Ware Autograph Signing on Friday. Come out and support the Mulisha!

ASR Trade Show is the bi-yearly big dick competition between all the lame-ass brands out there in the “industry.” Everyone gets drunk, parties too hard for their britches, and goes home with a moral hangover. Somewhere in between all the debauchery, sales guys try to sell their junk. Most brands don’t sell shit ‘cuz they just plain suck, and make fools of themselves because they’re not used to staying up past bedtime drinking.

The Mulisha is a whole other story. We’ve been partyin’ wide open for 10 years! Now our shit sells itself…which gives us even more time to go BIG! We can’t speak of the after hours stupidity, but here are a few photos from the show and a video of our ESP Guitars giveaway! HUGE thanks to our bro Adam Duce, the bass player from Machine Head, for flying out to party and judge the guitar contest! Our new #1 Mulisha fan “Striker,” AKA “Loose Tooth,” rocked out so hard that Adam awarded him one of the custom painted ESP Mulisha guitar!
