We’re proud to announce that Nick Diaz will be rocking Metal Mulisha head-to-toe in his now main event fight against BJ Penn at UFC 137 on Saturday, October 29. We have had a long relationship with Diaz, but we were not initially able to sponsor him when he first moved to the UFC. We have all that sorted out now and we are pumped to be back with Diaz while he’s battling for a main event win in the UFC, and working towards a World Championship!

This Saturday, April 9th, Metal Mulisha and Strikeforce hits San Diego along with two of our Mulisha fighters. Metal Mulisha Welterweight World Champion Nick Diaz will defend his title against the Paul “Semtex” Daley. Metal Mulisha’s Gilbert Melendez will make the second defense of his Lightweight Title against Tatsuya Kawajiri. In a potential candidate for Fight of the Year in the main event, sizzling STRIKEFORCE Welterweight (170 pounds) World Champion Nick Diaz (24-7, 1 NC), of Stockton, Calif., will seek his 10th consecutive victory when he defends against the hard-hitting, notorious British striker, Paul “Semtex” Daley (26-9-2), of Nottingham, England.
On March 12, 2011 the Metal Mulisha team geared up and head out to the 2011 Naval Air Facility El Centro Airshow. Check out the video with Derek Garland, Jimmy Fitzpatrick, Wes Agee, Jimmy Hill and Dominick CruzWEC Bantamweight Champion and first ever UFC Bantamweight titleholder. The boys teamed up with the Blue Angels and some of the pilots performing in the airshow to get in some flying time and some dog fighting!

The Metal Mulisha MMA team has a bunch of stuff going on. So this week we decided to throw it all together in one section and give the Mulisha troops solid post to check it all out in one post!
In the main event, top-ranked Nick Diaz (24-7-1) will make his third defense of the Strikeforce welterweight title against heavy-handed British striker Paul Daley (27-9-2). Diaz is more than ready to take down Paul Daley in this April 9th fight!
Diaz’s teammate Gilbert Melendez (19-2) is back in action after renewing a deal with Strikeforce and he’ll welcome top Japanese lightweight Tatsuya Kawajiri (27-6-2) to the U.S. The fight will be Melendez’s second title defense since unifying the Strikeforce titles in December 2009.
Gilbert Melendez vs Tatsuya Kawajiri Strikeforce fight booked for April 9 in San Diego. Strikeforce Lightweight Champion Gilbert ” El Nino” Melendez will take on former welterweight champion Tatsuya Kawajiri in a 155-pound clash tentatively planned for April 9, 2011, in San Diego, California.

Metal Mulisha MMA fighter Nick Diaz has a new highlight video! Nick is a bad ass and just finished up destroying Cyborg at his last fight in San Jose, CA. He is already going to be fighting again on April 9th with the opponent to be announced soon!
