Nick Diaz

In the main event, top-ranked Nick Diaz (24-7-1) will make his third defense of the Strikeforce welterweight title against heavy-handed British striker Paul Daley (27-9-2). Diaz is more than ready to take down Paul Daley in this April 9th fight!

Diaz’s teammate Gilbert Melendez (19-2) is back in action after renewing a deal with Strikeforce and he’ll welcome top Japanese lightweight Tatsuya Kawajiri (27-6-2) to the U.S. The fight will be Melendez’s second title defense since unifying the Strikeforce titles in December 2009.

Gilbert Melendez vs Tatsuya Kawajiri Strikeforce fight booked for April 9 in San Diego. Strikeforce Lightweight Champion Gilbert ” El Nino” Melendez will take on former welterweight champion Tatsuya Kawajiri in a 155-pound clash tentatively planned for April 9, 2011, in San Diego, California.

Metal Mulisha FMX rider Cam Sinclair suffered one of the worst crashes anyone has seen on a dirt bike while attempting to pull a double backflip during his run at the fourth round of the 2009 Red Bull X-Fighters in Madrid, Spain. Brandon Dosch packed his bags, BMX bike and charged out to Cam White’s 5th annual Hillside Dirtjam and the 2011 BMX Games Pro Finals in Australia. Dosch was up against a huge international rider line up with nothing but s#itty weather. Brandon definitely stepped it up, and had some incredible runs in both contest. Dosch had a 1st place finish on the podium in the 2011 BMX Games Pro Final and it came down to Dosch pulling off a transfer triple whip, which put him in for Best Trick at the Hillside Dirtjam. Congrats Brandon for your solid finish at the 2011 BMX Games Pro Final and Cam White’s 5th annual Hillside Dirtjam!
