Metal Mulisha’s WEC Bantamweight Champion and First-ever UFC Bantamweight title holder Dominick Cruz suffered an injury to his left hand during training for his first title defense against Joseph Benavidez last August.
He chose to fight through the injury instead of having surgery right away because he didn’t want to postpone the fight. Dominick pushed threw the pain but as tough and as bad ass as Cruz is, he had to get fixed up. Dominick head to the hospital and wanted to give all the fans a update on his condition and posted the some picture on his Twitter 15 hours after surgery.

AT one time I thought the Mulisha should stick with riders and not fighters. I was wrong. Trying to fight with that hand is straight up warrior shit! Just like Deegan and the boys breaking themselves for what they love. It is pure heart!!!
