Over the weekend Ronnie Faisst received a call from Jason Ellis to attend Ellis Mania and take on Donald Schultz from Animal Planet. Faisst agreed and was pumped to go fight, even with only three days notice to prepare for the match. Faisst called up Metal Mulisha MMA Team Manager and fighter Erik Apple, Mulisha MMA fighter Benji Radach, Rajesh and a few boys from LA Boxing and went to work putting in two hard days of training.
On the day of the fight Faisst (6′ 170 pounds) and Donald (6′2 190 pounds) stood glove to glove ready for battle. Faisst threw some solid blows…his heavy right hand punch and knocked Schultz down twice in the second round. The third round came and went real quick when Faisst threw a hard body shot to finish the fight by TKO! Congrats to Ronnie Faisst for his well deserved victory at Ellis Mania!
