Josh Grant

Saturday’s Supercross, held at Anaheim Stadium was going off! Josh Grant was still hurting from his crash testing days prior to the race. JG wanted to repeat round 1 from 2009 results taking first. He elected to sit out the second practice to rest and prepare for the race.

Josh rode through the pain and transferred to the main event directly out of his heat race, but made the decision not to race the main and risk further injury. JG is going to continue to train and get prepared for the next round of the series which will be on Jan. 16 in Phoenix, Ariz. at Chase Field. Congrats to Mulisha friend Wil A Hahn taking 5th in the Supercross Light Class! Check out the photo gallery.

It sucks that Chad Reed didn’t get to race. I thought to myself, nobody else will be able to give challenge to Stewart, but I was wrong. Ryan Dungey flat out kicked ass. I was very surprised and exited to see him go after Bubba on the last lap. The fact that there was almost 30 seconds between second place and third kind of sucks though. I wish there was at least 5 guys who could take the win on any given night. I wish Honda would get some new talent that’s capable of taking the top podium spot in the 450 class. Short did okay. Millsaps took the win in his heat but didn’t so much in the main. I love Honda and wish they would step it up. At least Windham still makes the Honda look good. I think that Josh Grant made a wise decision to stay out of the main. He had a nasty crash and it is a long season. It’s good to see Langston back. I’m glad he kept his head up after his health problems. J Law sure didn’t do much to show that he’s better than Dungey like he claimed in his Transworld interview. Looks like it’s going to be interesting this year.
