Mulisha Troops! As you may have already noticed, we just launched a new feature on metalmulisha.com.
If you look to the right of this post (and on just about every page of metalmulisha.com) you will see 2 buttons under “Login to Share.” 1 for Facebook, 1 for Twitter. When you click one of those links you will be able to connect your profile on Facebook or Twitter to metalmulisha.com. Once you have connected, your avatar and user name from those networks will show up on all of your blog, photo, video and maiden comments and uploads! Also, you will have the option to send out a Tweet (Twitter) or Status Update (Facebook) letting people know what you’re up to on metalmulisha.com. Pretty bitchin, eh?
Brian Deegan killed it over the weekend at one of the biggest off-road races there is…the TORC Off-Road Series from Crandon. On the Sunday race, which was aired LIVE on ABC, Deegan made his way through the carnage and landed himself on the podium in 3rd place! Think of it as the equivalent of a privateer coming out and winning a Supercross…oh wait, Deegan has done that too!
The transition to 4-wheel racing is looking good for the General. Watch the replay tonight, Wednesday, September 9, at 10:30PM PST / 1:30AM EST on ESPN2.
A couple guys made their van seaworthy and drove it across the Cook Straight in New Zealand! In true Metal Mulisha style, they painted the Amphibious Van Yacht flat black, plastered MM helmets on the sides and charged it! Vanarchy!
We hear Maverick Gunner is tracking these guys down to borrow the van for his next trip around the world. Good call.
Sherry Spencer recently sent us an email about her 13 year old son Christian who got in a serious moto crash and was in a coma. Lauren Lusk got in touch with Sherry letting her know all of our thoughts and support were behind Christian and the Spencer family. Unfortunately, yesterday, they had to pull Christian off life support.
Dirt bikes were Christian’s life and he was a big Metal Mulisha fan. Everyone that knows him associated him with his love for those things. He had his Lusk memorial shirt at his bedside in his final hours. He wanted to ride for the Metal Mulisha one day…we know Christian and Jeremy are poppin’ wheelies up there somewhere right now.
In his memory, here are a couple pics of Christian. RIP buddy.
The TORC Off Road Truck Series heads to Crandon Raceway in Wisconsin this weekend and Brian Deegan will be racing his Pro Light Truck for the win! The best part? You will be able to see it all LIVE on ABC on Sunday, September 4 at 1PM PST/4PM EST. Tune in and watch Deegan kick some ass!
