Congrats to Maddo on a podium finish at Red Bull X Fighters today! Twitch and Cam Sinclair were close behind in 4th and 5th. We hear Cam crashed hard on a double flip, so we really hope he’s OK. We’ll keep you posted as we hear more.

I was in Madrid, Sincs crash in front of my. He tried a double backflip in the last jump and he landed it with the face. He was senseless( the crash was very similar as Jeremy’s), and they take Sincs to the hostipal to take care of him . The speaker told us at the end that he only has a light shock, but the cras was very ugly. Hope his well. Waiting more news plesase!!. M/M for life

Australian Freestyle star Cameron Sinclair has been seriously injured during the Red Bull X Fighter event in Madrid Spain.
Cameron under rotated a double flip and took a massive hit.
He was rushed to Hospital where he was induced into a coma and then was then rushed into surgery.
Details are a bit sketchy but he suffered severe internal bleeding from a lacerated liver, Surgeons went in to what remained of his liver through and artery in his leg to stem the bleeding. He has also suffered some bruising on the brain. Doctors don’t know the extent of any damage at the moment. He also suffered a very bad break to his shoulder.
Mick Sinclair, Cameron’s brother said he will remain in a critical condition for at least the next 14 hours and that he was as stable as he could be at this time.

It’s been over 15 hours since Cameron Sinclair’s horrifying crash in Madrid and according to his older brother Mick, Cam is in stable condition. According to Mick and other sources, Cam underwent a successful three hour surgery to repair his liver by scope and he’s currently resting in ICU.
Australian moto site Fullnoise.com.au, has made a few additional claims as to the extent of Cam’s injuries, but nothing is confirmed. Cameron went down hard, but it sounds like he’s going to pull out of this just fine. Stay tuned to ESPN FMX for more official info as it’s made available.

Unfortunately I do not have as good news to report on Cam for this newsletter as I would like.
During the finals at the X Fighters in Madrid, Spain, Cam under rotated the double backflip, landing heavily on his the front of his body and head.
Cam was knocked unconscious and taken to hospital in a critical condition. He has since had surgery on his liver, to repair a rupture in it and stop the internal bleeding. Luckily the operation was successful and the bleeding has been stopped.
Doctors did scans on Cams head and body to check for other damage, it appears he has broken his shoulder, but other than that his spine looks ok. He also has some bruising on his brain however the full extent of the damage to it wont be known for 12-14 hours minimum.
At this stage Cam is in a critical but stable condition under an induced coma in hospital.

Good news!
At this stage Cam remains in a critical condition, however has improved over night. He has opened his eyes and is responding to instructions to raise his arms and squeeze his fiance Brooke’s hand. This is great news, as there was bruising on his brain; the fact that he is responding to their commands is a really really good sign.
