With X Games in Los Angeles, and the Metal Mulisha dominating X Games, it’s only natural the Mulisha will make headlines in the LA Times.

Brian Deegan LA Times

There is a story on how Lusk’s death has changed FMX and the creation of the AFMXA to help ease the risks of the sport. They also showed off the new Rockstar/Metal Mulisha New Era (team exclusive for now, but coming soon!) while giving a little Rally update. There’s even a X Games practice photo gallery! Thanks LA Times.

Todd Potter Best Whip
Todd Potter won X Games Best Whip! He smoked some of the best riders in the world, including some guys you may have heard of, like James Stewart, Ricky Carmichael (did you see the M/M sticker RC was rocking!?), Jeremy McGrath, and even Metal Mulisha’s Josh Grant. Check the photo below and you’ll see that Potter got double the amount of votes of 2nd place, who happened to be Supercross Champ Jame Stewart! Oh yeah, and this is the 2nd year in a row Potter has won best whip. I think it’s safe to say that Potter has the BIGGEST and BEST WHIP in the world! Congrats, Todd!

Brian Deegan competed in step up and, unfortunately, he messed up and hit the bar early on. But Deegan has another chance at X Games glory this Sunday in Rally car. Rumor has it that Deegan had top 3 lap times today in practice….

As I speak, the top FMX riders in the world are making their way to Los Angeles for X Games 15. That didn’t stop Potter, Grant, Faisst, Taka, and Ox from getting some last minute preparation in before the biggest event of the year. Wait till you see what the guys have planned. In fact, I am going to tell you what Potter’s top secret trick is for Best Trick… Yea, right! I am not going to tell you that. That would spoil all the fun of watching it live. I can however, give you a a sneak peak of Potter and Grant getting near upside down as they get ready for Best Whip. Be sure to text in like crazy for Potter and JG. I know you all have unlimited texting, so there is no excuse why one of the two shouldn’t win!

Josh was having such a good time whipping it upside down that he wanted to try the real thing. Potter and Faisst gave JG some pointers on flipping and sent him straight to the foam pit. Josh got close but couldn’t quite get it around. If he had enough time he would have made it around for sure. I say we get Josh out to the pit once he is done kicking ass in Outdoors! What do you think? Be sure to check back all week for shit loads of fresh X Games content!
