I Was just digging through the mess of junk on my desk and found a couple FREE Osiris Shoe Citations. Well, they’re not doing anyone any good just sitting here, so figured I’d just give them away and get them on some feet. Best 2 captions on this photo of Garland in the Journey BBQ Tour Gallery will earn some free Osiris’!

Our friend Pfc. Garret Casados is in the U.S. Army and stationed in Iraq. Garret sent us these pics of him rocking the Lusk Wrist Band and stickers on his Hummer in Iraq, and sent this write-up about Lusk and what he meant to him. I know Lusk would be proud that his legacy has even touched the Troops who protect our country who Lusk respected so much.
Well about me. I was born and raised in Riverside CA. I used to do a little bit of FMX, actually was decent at it but not good enough for contests. Motocross is basically my life, I follow SX, MX and FMX constantly as much as I can. I joined the Army in April of 2008 and I’ve been in Iraq for eight months now, in the city of Basrah in Southern Iraq. My unit is supposed to be home by September first. Then I’ll get to take leave back to California before I have to report back to Ft. Carson, Colorado.
I actually met Lusk years ago when he was on a clapped out Honda at the old LBZ compound. He was riding with Billy Walls and Bobby Lee. He didn’t look too bad out there, he was just getting into FMX. He had the most amazing year last year it was awesome to see him work that hard and it pay off. His style was so smooth and reminded me of Stenberg.
I go on freestylemtx.com as much as I can out here and that is when I heard about the crash. So I followed it everyday on the messages board hoping he would pull through. Then the day came when it was announced he died, I was in complete shock, this never happens, they always pull through, it took me awhile for it to actually hit me. I’ve followed his career from day one just about. It was like losing someone here. So as soon as I heard they made wrist bands I had my mother order ten of them. She mailed five here just to make sure it made it and some stickers came. I’ve worn this band since I got it. It has never been taken off and won’t be. If I get through this deployment you bet your ass I’m going to wear it next deployment. It’s a good luck band in my eyes and a tribute to someone who has touched so many lives through this crazy world. My wish’s go to his family and friends and anyone who he has touched. Jeremy will never be forgotten. RIP Jeremy Lusk
