That crash showed how EXTREME what he was doing really is!! It’s hard to believe that a rider THAT GOOD at Natural Terrain would die doing a trick that he’s done like a million times….It gives everyone a greater appreciation for what you guys do. After seeing that, I don’t think that I’ll talk trash about the Backflip ever again….I guess it’s true, You guys make it look EASY!!! Jeremy’s Whip in Transworld MX a few months ago was the SICKEST I’ve ever seen….If you haven’t seen it, GO CHECK IT OUT!! Completely Upside Down…….I was like =O when I saw it!!!!! I’m glad that he won the FMX Rider of the Year Award. It’s horrible that he died so young, God has waaaay bigger plans for people than we can ever imagine here on Earth. No eye has seen and no mind can conceive what God has prepared for us in Heaven

Jeremy was one of my inspirations for freestyle motocross and its sad when one of your idols is starting to be at the top of the world and then crashes down. Well dirt biking is my whole life and it has been for as long as i can remember. i grew up in a small little mountain town in British Columbia Canada and always looked up to all the mulisha riders. Every night before i go to bed i go on the site and watch videos and check out the pics and stuff and when i saw that Jeremy had passed away it almost felt like losing a member of my own family. Jeremy you will be missed so much by so many people around the world. To his family, friends and the mulisha riders, stay strong. I dont have the money to get to california to attend your funeral but you will be in my prayers.

My condolences and prayers go out to the wife and family and friends of Jeremy Lusk Freestyle Motorcross 2008 World Champion who died after being hospitalized in Costa Rica after an stunt motocross accident where he landed headfirst in a Hart Attack Backflip. A sad and tragic loss of a brave warrior.
Jeremy was a stand up guy, real-people and down to earth as it gets when I had the honor to meet him and his teamates on the Metal Mulisha team in Pomona at the LG Freestyle Motorcross World Championship 2007. Jeremy Lusk was a 22 year old new rising star on the Metal Mulisha team at the time. Jeremy Lusk and I took a few photos in front of his trailer, which was really a kick-ass Rock Star Energy Drink tourbus. I also remembered the Guava flavored Rock Star Energy Juice Drink which I was introduced to that day at catering. I would think of Jeremy Lusk everytime I had one after that. It was great to see the success he had in the year that followed, being #1 in his sport. I performed with Andy Walo, Mitch Perry, Roger Bueno and Michael Leasure at the LG Freestyle Motorcross World Championship 2007 event on the final day of LA County Fair 2007 at Pomona Fairgrounds. I will always remember Jeremy Lusk as a real authentic person who pushed all limits. I will miss getting the chance to meet up with him again at another great event like that. I am thankful that our paths crossed and was blown away that he appreciated what I did too. Jeremy Lusk you will always be IMMORTAL!!!! and without FEAR!!!!

I don’t know anything about motocross – all I know is my 2-yr old son Eli loves motorcycles and for the last 6 months he has watched the same Jeremy Lusk video on motocross.com at least 5 times in a row, every day- so Jeremy has been part of our daily routine.

I dont know Jeremy Lusk personally but I have to say Ive done nothing but love to watch him ride. Its so tragic what has happened to him Im praying for him and his beautiful wife everyday. Every since the 2007 X-Games when me and my 2 boys sat right behind Jeremy’s family, we have really followed his career. We think he was amazing and you could see how much love was in his family. Our hearts go out to them and to all his friends because it will be a hard road back, but they will make it! Faith takes you along way, and great memories will keep you happy. Go in Peace Jeremy and God will take care of the rest.

When I heard about his death I have no idea why but I cried so hard. It’s so sad that he died so young, it really got me to thinking, none of us are immortal and we could go at anytime so you really should cherish every living moment because you never know when your next breath will be your last.
