There is a very dark cloud over freestyle motocross at the moment. But a very bright light up in heaven. People who love this sport all knew it could happen, the riders them selves knew it could happen, but we hoped it wouldn’t. I cant explain at the moment how i feel. Sad,empty,gutted are some words that come to mind but no words can say it all. Lusky i hope you didnt go through the gates of heaven but backflipped over them is style when you went in. Our 11 yr old son David has admired Jeremy Lusk and the Mulisha Team for along time. My husband and I saw the breaking news the day of his accident and were saddened by this tragedy. What was even harder was knowing that at some point we would have to share the news with our son. Our son had the pleasure of meeting Lusk and taking photos with him at XGames 14. We have posted those photos to share with everyone. Our Respects and Prayers go out to the entire Lusk and Mulisha Family. RIP Jeremy U will be missed, but never forgotten.

Jeremy was true to his sport, and will be missed by all. Deagan if you are reading this, you guys need to take your own medical staff with you when you go outside the U.S. for shows. You need 1 doctor and at least 2 medics. God forbid if something happens, you guys will have the BEST care on the spot. I want to thank the lusk family for sharing this with everyone. I am honored to have met jeremy on a number of occasions at eventh throughout southern california. Jeremy will forever ride in our hearts. His spirit was so contagious and he will live on in everyone who knew, loved, and looked up to him.

I watched the whole thing and It was beautiful. For some reason the deaths of Scott Kalitta and Eric Medlen didnt effect me like Lusk did. Being a future drag racer you would think those deaths would effect me more. I respect Lusk so much and cant say enough about him and about what he has done. Lauryn I wish you the best as well as the entire Lusk family and the mulisha.

The love shown by his family and friends was the most powerful thing at this ceremony and in his life. I suggest that you find the time to get more aquainted with your family and friends. They are the ones that will comfort you the most in your time of need. Converting yourself in to a kind and gentle person will give you the spirituality that you need.
This is a huge loss for us in the surf and snowboarding world too. All action sport people have a special code or bond. We share activities, style, and a way of life. When a brother of sister goes down in the line of action we all hurt and wonder when our last wave or ride will come.

I had watched the livecast earlier. I have to say that it was one of the best memorial services I had ever seen. It felt like I was there,but couldn’t see the reactions to all the other families.
My heart started hurting when the little neice got up and spoked. She looked to be about 8/9 yo. Then when Brian Deegan,and the guy before him had spoked made me cry. For some reason,I knew deep down that Brian was terrified thru all this. He was talking very slow so most of us could understand him,while holding back his tears. Then when Grandpa came up,I was like ‘oh no’ thinking something was going to happen. I agreed with something his Grandpa had said. Motorcross is a scary thing,but can also be a good sport.
I have to say that it’s scary. My brother lost his best friend Sept 6th 2008 do to dirtbikes aswell. He was like a brotther to me,so I know how all of you guys are going thru!
When the services was about to end,the mom came up at the last minute,and my god,I started crying even more!
I also have to agree with the precher or whoever that guy was! JEREMY is ALIVE more than EVER in Heaven!!!! He is flying over the hills SAFE!

I forgot to say ,Thanks to the chruch for allowing this to be broadcast. I had saved the link last night,but when i clicked on it, I ended up watching the Sunday evening services, and I must admit, I miss going to chruch. If it wasn’t for this, God wouldn’t had enter me again!
I do not think that this could be re-aired because it was a live thing going on inside the church. I do not think anyone had videotaped it.Unless someone at home did. It would of been nice if someone did have it,but then again..it could still be sad if it’s being posted,and the family see the video,and just wants to remember Jeremy the way he was.
What happened yesterday? Wasn’t yesterday visitation? I missed something the preacher had said. He said something like he started crying because Lauren,Jeremy’s wife put her head next to Jeremy in his casket? I missed the part tho.
Jeremy will always have his HIGH SCHOOL sweetheart in his heart forever,and he will always be apart of us!
Someone had mentioned that this memorial was diffrent then any other service that had happened.It was diffrent. I believe this was a wonderful service. Now, I wonder if the boys had fired their dirtbikes one more time?
Oh,and another thing that was SAD,was after Eric I believe his name was. The guy that spoked before Brian,or two before Brian.. MADE me cry!! Walking off and hugging Jeremy’s father .. was the emotional sence.
Jeremy had RESPECT for his father like noone else has. Jeremy’s father was there most of his life and gave him some wonderful advices,so Jeremy gave his friends wonderful advices from his father.
Brian said ‘I am like at the end of my carrerr,when Jeremy was at the beginning’ .. when they met.

I watched Jeremy’s funeral sevices online and I wanted to send my deepest sympathy to the family and friends of such a remarkable young man. Although I did not know him personally, my two sons love motorcross and the metal mulisha crew. My son has a pic of him and Brian and Twitch.. You all are an inspiration to young boys and girls alike. Keep doing what you love and being a light and witness to all those who follow Christ. Jeremy will be missed but his legacy will continue through you all… I am honored to call him my brother in christ.

I watched the service and it was beautiful! Ronnie, Brian… Grandpa, oh man, it was so sad, but you guys and everyone else who spoke were so great up there; you know Jeremy heard it all. I just sat at my computer and sobbed and didn’t even know Jeremy. I have been a fan of MM for years, however, and sometimes you don’t have to know someone to be touched by all the love he’s received in his life to know he was worth every tear. RIP Jeremy.

soy de COSTA RICA y quiero decirle a todos los amigos y familia de JEREMY que de verdad lo siento mucho el era muy bueno en este deporte , yo le pedi a dios por el, pero ya no esta aqui pero lo bueno de todo es que esta en un lugar mejor , para mi el era y sera el campeon de los campeones y ademas siempre estara en nuestros corazones tenia la esperanza de verlo saltar en la moto y hacer esos trucos tan buenos que hacia del freestyle te queremos jeremy cuando vi la caida senti un vacio y que mi corazon se partio en mil pedazos pero lo mejor de todo es que dejo una huella imborrable para todos sus fans pero mas para los amigos que tuvieron la oportunidad de conocerlo y su familia que lo vio nacer TE QUEREMOS JEREMY LUSK

Personally I did not know Jeremy, but I am very close with his wifes (Lauren) sister (Melissa) & her family, our boys play ball together, ride together. No words can descibe what you are feeling or even going thru, all we you know is now he is that GAURDIAN ANGEL, and will be there no matter how things may seem. talk to him dailey and he will shine thru each and everyone of you for each other.
