We want Jeremy to be remembered as the hardcore warrior that he was. He was never one to back down from any challenge life had to offer him–on or off the track. As a fierce competitor, he rode to the top of the freestyle world, embracing the risks of the sport with hardcore passion. As a Christian, Jeremy had faith that no matter what he would always be on the ride of his life. To Jeremy, there was never a question of there being any consequences, especially doing something he loved. His drive, love, passion and commitment drove him to become the “baddest ass” rider of his time. He and his wife Lauren will always be part of the Mulisha family, and his memory will continue to push our group of friends to the outer limits of life.

These will be for sale in the Metal Mulisha Online Store later this week. When they’re gone, they’re all gone. It goes without saying that all proceeds from the prints go to The Jeremy Lusk Trust Fund.

30mn ago,I woke up and I thought that was just a nightmare so I came here and saw that it’s the true… My night has been short, I cried most of the time… It was one of my dream to met ALL the mulisha and to see them ride together… Lusk was and is still my hero, the one who made me know this sport and show me how wonderful it is. nobody will never forget him, never. I’m pretty sure that he’s doing well in heaven and that he has good time learning FMX to some crazy angels.I can not imagine how hard it could be for his family and his second one: the mulisha.

I was sickened to see you step off, I could not watch anymore as we sat there waiting for you to get up and wave. As we sat there we said a prayer for your protection before leaving the arena and going back to the (BMX) track to go to bed. Unfortunately you were taken from us much too soon, but being in a better place glorifies your name and your stand.
Jeremy the times we met will live on forever in my heart. Being one of the elder guys I was hoping that I would never have to see someone’s star extinguished before mine. Our Prayers to our Father in Heaven continue for all of the family, from lovely to the riders/promoters and the fans.

Yo y my girlfriend estuvimos el sabado 07 en el x nighy free style, en el estadio saprissa y le dije a mi novia que lo filmara por que era muy bueno. y el accidente quedo grabado en mi camara de fotos.
Es muy impactante ver que cuando salio no salio con velocidad y temiamos algun accidente. Le pudo haber pasado a cualquiera de los demas, pero le toco a el.
Ha hecho el salto mas alto y bonito que pudo haber hecho, y es el del cielo.

Jeremy, Costa Rica has always had a special place in my heart. It is where I met my wife and son was born. Costa Rica is a beautiful place and I have lived there for over 10 years. I am now back in Canada and I read the news there everyday and was following your story everyday, from pictures with the chicas from Diario Extra to the trial runs. I was so saddened to hear that this accident happened but knew in my heart that you would be well taken care of. Rest in Peace Dear friend. Costa Rica will not feel the same for me now. man I cant believe this. I didnt even know him but when I found out he died my heart fell through my stomach and out my ass. Jeremy was an amazing athlete with a bagful of tricks. Although I do not know any of your personally, I am a big fan of freestyle motocross and a bigger fan of the metal mulisha. i race supermoto, if you came out with it, i would absolutly buy a jeremy lusk tribute/ rememberance race jersey, with Lusk on the back, and maybe the dates of his amazing life, i would wear it with pride towards a fallen hero, and the proceeds could go towards his family and to help pay for the medical bills, its just a thought, but im sure many other people would buy a jersey like this if it was made.

Desde entonces estuve orando por él,el dolor que sentimos la mayoria de los costarricenses es comparable con perder un hijo o un hermano. He hablado con mis amigos y es lo mismo, dolor, incredulidad, asombro, pero sobre todo mucho dolor.
Quizás en este momento no este pasando por la situación tan devastadora que esta pasando su familia, pero si se que es perder un ser amado y puedo comprender.

To jeremy’s family and wife: I want you guys to know that I feel the pain as much as you do. Ive met him 5 times. I loved the guy! I stay up late at night watching his videos, dreaming of one day having half of what he did. My dad died when i was eight and he taught me how to ride when i was 4. Ive kept riding since then because thats what loved to do. Now my fmx hero is gone I have even more to ride for and its given me an even greater outlook on life. I know Jeremy, he was too tough, too strong, too nice to go out like that. I didnt believe my friends when they told me and i stayed informed on his condition and when I heard he had left us I couldnt help my self from falling to the floor and crying uncontrollably… I hate how things happen like this but everyone has their own destiny and his was to inspire kids like me to ride harder and bring the best out of people around me. I have never seen Jeremy perform in person but admired his talent as I seen on TV. My nephew, Scott Murray, is an FMX performer also and has shared with me how nice Jeremy and his wife were when Scott and his wife, Connie, went to the X Games to perform. He said he was such a great person and that Jeremy’s wife was so friendly also.
One thing I have noticed about the FMX world is that it is filled with fans who select one rider over another and then just trash the others. These FMX riders risk their lives every day because they love the sport. To me, everyone one here has mentioned what a great “rider” Jeremy was, but I would like to highlight what a great “person” Jeremy was to welcome a new comer into the industry as he did. He and his wife were kind and friendly. From what I heard, he was a fantastic person.
I pray that God is with his wife and family and gives them strength as they grieve his death. I also pray for the safety of other riders as what they do is dangerous. Instead of bashing those who perform, lets start praying for their safety.
God be with you Jeremy and thank you for the kindness shown to a newcomer from Michigan who wore work gloves and didn’t have a name as others had. Scott was so thrilled to have landed the double backflip and get invited to the X Games. He worked so hard to get there and was so happy to meet you and others who were big names in the industry. I know that having the chance to perform with Jeremy will always mean a lot to him.

Wish i would have got to meet you, you seemed like a pretty awesome dude. You and the Metal Mulisha inspired me to start riding. Sad to see you go and is impossible to believe. Cant even begin to imagine how your family is feeling but i hope they are doing good along with your second family the Metal Mulisha. Hope you are in a better place riding bike and partying hard.
