Man, you should stay on the 2 stroke .Keep it alive, and not follow trends like the others in racing.4 strokes are everywhere and having a 2 stroke makes it original plus the’re f**king good bikes,cheaper to maintain,sound better,and they should stay with freestyle.

2 stroke are motocross and there wat built both mx and fmx and there only putting ridders on 4’s cus there way to many parts to go wrong on them and thats money in there pocket and ino that ur sponsors pay for it, but wat’s the point u would have to gear it and every thing as u already no and a two stroke is pretty much gd for fmx stoke and i still see 2 stroke blow off the four at the track, so wat if they put all the tech on the 4’s thats only cus thats wat there selling and theres rumors of a yam fuel injected 250 2 stroker so if its true 4’s will die, and freestyle came from u lot and there no rules to it so dont go 4, stay on 2, haha wat a rant that is,

2 strokes are not dinosaurs era, only people who own a 4 stroke(or a factory sucker) and still have to bring it to the dealership for a oil change would say something like that .4 strokes are good bikes but hey, any good rider with a decent 2 stroker knows the’re not in a disavantage at all.

Decided to start ridn 4 strks in 04.Gave my 08 YZ450F to my 14 yr old son .Got a sweet deal on a very clean 01 YZ250.Great to be back on a two stroke.

The four stroke is the way of the future, it’s where all the big companies R&D money and time is going. For all u freeriders that r new to the sport you may want to throw a leg over a thumper and find out how much easier they r to ride. Don’t get me wrong I love my 02′CR250 but my 07′ 450 is the shizz. Whatever these guys choose to ride, it has alot more to do with sponsors than personal decisions. If sponsor A tells me we want you to ride this bike, and btw we’ll be giving u 5 new bikes(ei:) for 09′ it’s gonna’ be an easy decision. And twitch said it best when he mentioned the gearing! twitch is the best fmx rider out there right now man that guy has style but me personally think twitch doesn’t look as good on a 4 stroke.
i have no right to talk though because twitch could ride on a mo ped and have better looking style then me but i hope you keep ridin the smokers keep them alive i like the 2 strokes flickability when i ride a 4 stroke i get cramps trying to whip those things and caseing jumps man that sucks on a 4 stroke i about break my back everytime.
