The newest Metal Mulisha recruit, Nixey Danielson, was an alternate for FMX at X this year. When you’re an alternate you get to ride the course and practice like the qualified riders just in case you need to be ready for the big show. While practicing and getting used to the jumps, Nixey came up short on the big 120 footer. He got weeded to say the least…2 broken legs, 1 broken wrists, still spitting up blood, and plenty of pain meds!
We stopped by to see him in the hospital today and showed him the footage of the crash for the first time. Check the video and leave Nixey some comments below ’cause he will be reading them from his couch! Get well soon buddy.

I love watching what you guys do and I totally respect you for having the guts to go out there and do the insane tricks you do, but I always cringe a little on the jumps and pray you don’t crash!
