Brian Deegan made his CORR racing debut over the weekend in Pomona. Going into the weekend Deegan only had 1 chance to drive the Rockstar/Makita Pro Lite truck he would be racing, so he really didn’t know what to expect. Normally qualifying lap times would give you a pretty good idea of where you stand, but on Saturday the truck’s transponder wasn’t working so they had him start in the back of the pack for the main, so that sucked.
On the first lap of the main there was a pile up in front of Deegs and he clipped one of the dudes with his front right tire causing a flat. The wheels for the truck are one of a kind so they didn’t have a spare available right away to change the flat. Deegan was forced to drive 3 laps slow as hell with a flat until they could get it changed.
With a fresh tire Deegan got back out there and battled it out with he best of ‘em! Above Deegan, #58, takes the outside line to carry speed into the straight away and pass those fools! He managed to finish 16th.
Sunday, day 2, gave Deegan a new clean slate to qualify and go for it in the main. Deegan qualified 16th out of about 30 trucks! Not bad for his second race!
So Deegan started mid-pack in the main on Sunday…no flats, no excuses, just a truck and track to battle it out. Deegan passed a bunch of guys and by the last lap he was in 7th place! Top 10 just like he wanted. Unfortunately, some dumb ass, #25, that he was battling with decided to go for a takeout maneuver on the back pavement section on the last lap. They both go spun out and got passed by a bunch of trucks. Deegan managed to restart the truck and get back out there to finish 14th, while #25 got what he deserved with a tow truck ride back to the pits.

The Xtremey Awards were held on Sunday to honor the best in “extreme” sports videos and, to our delight, Metal Mulisha’s new in-house filmer/editor Taylor Rambo took home the award for Best New Producer! You’ve seen Taylor’s work in “Televised” and all over the Metal Mulisha Podcast so you know he’s legit.
Congrats, Taylor! Just don’t get all big time Hollywood guy on us too quick…stick around for a little while and bring everyone some more kick ass web videos!
The Mulisha’s march towards World Domination is going strong as Todd Potter killed it over the weekend at X Games Brazil! Potter pulled yet another Gold Medal with a flip cliffhanger that no one could touch to win the Best Trick competition. Faisst and Garland got 4th and 5th, respectively, so 3 out of the top 5 were Mulisha!
Check out Tashia, our newest Metal Mulisha Maiden! She’s 23, blond, single, and when asked her preference on thong vs. regular panties, she said “how ’bout none!”

After scoring a Bronze and Silver at the Moto X Championships last weekend, Twitch and the Mulisha crew headed to the Basic Bar in Downtown San Diego to celebrate and check out the premiere of his much anticipated new video “Twitch: Hood Rich”
Tons of people showed up for the red carpet event and everyone took full advantage of the open bar while watching the vid. Fuel TV was on hand documenting everything for the weekly update and some other stuff, so you’ll be sure to catch some of the real soon. In case you were wondering the video is SICK! Dave Dawes and Brian Alexander came through with yet another winner on this one!
