Robbie Maddison was out at Lake Elsinore MX Park today getting ready for his world record jump in Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve. Maddo went 301 feet on his Honda 500 today…5th gear pinned and that’s as far as it would go! Tomorrow they are re-gearing the bike–dropping 2 teeth on the rear sprocket–and going for the record!
We’re going to tease you and not show the jump, but you’ll be able to see the record live on ESPN when the clock strikes midnight!

Callum’s dream was to meet his heroes from the Metal Mulisha and hang with them at the Mulisha Compound. Callum has a cancer and the good people at Make-A-Wish Foundation helped to make Callum’s dream a reality yesterday by flying him out to California from his home in Australia to visit Deegan’s house, hang with the Mulisha crew and watch everyone ride.
He started out the day by pulling up to Deegan’s house in a sweet limo with him Mom, Dad and sisters. Brian Deegan, Ronnie Faisst, Todd Potter, Beau Manley, Ox, Ryan Hagy and Derek Garland were all there to meet them, show them around Deegan’s compound and give them a huge box of Metal Mulisha gear. Twitch and Jeremy Lusk rode up on their bikes a little later and Twitch had a fresh pair his signature etnies for Callum in his backpack…he was pumped!
Deegan and the guys geared up and hit the course to give Callum one of the baddest private riding sessions that anyone will ever see! As if that wasn’t cool enough, everyone was planning on hitting up Fitzpatrick’s house before dark, so Callum and family loaded up the limo and headed down the street to check it out. They scored another epic session with all the guys going huge on all the dirt hits!
All in all it was a cool day and we think Callum had a great time! We did for sure! Callum is a super cool kid and we all had a great time hangin’ out with him.
Check out the Metal Mulisha photo gallery from the day to see what went down at the private freestyle session from Deegan’s and Fitzpatrick’s.

Babalu was victorious in his latest effort again Rodney Faverus here in Manila at the Ring of Fire World Team Challenge. Faverus is a very well respected Muay Thai and MMA fighter from Holland and a Pride veteran. Babalu took him down rather easily and worked some ground and pound before sinking in a head and arm choke. Babalu even let go of the choke when his opponent tapped this time and helped him up!! Awwww, what a nice guy!
Ox and Trigger go bigger than pretty much anyone on dirt bikes…Ox throws some of the biggest tricks in the business and Trigger jumps football fields! Their skills in the dirt are well known, but growing up on the beach in San Clemente, these guys have skills in the water, too. Check out this tow-in session at Baja Malibu during the last big swell with Ox, Trigger and friends Mike Maurer and Richy Niggemann from SC. Pretty gnarly! Footage courtesy of …Lost.
Deegan raced last weekend at the Toys for Tots 200 with the OC Pools guys and Larry Roeseler. Roeseler rolled the car in the first couple laps, they we still able to come back and finish in 5th place! Check out the video from the race…

The world television premiere of Brian Deegan’s film, Disposable Hero, will air tonight on Spike TV at 11PM EST/PST. Watch it. You’ll dig it. Then you can buy the DVD with all the bonus footage in the Metal Mulisha Store!
