With a broken ankle and some torn ligaments, Twitch was barely able to walk around the pits at the LG Action Sports Championship this weekend, but that didn’t stop him from riding and WINNING the contest!
The contest format was pretty lame with head-to-head bracket competition in the finals. Round 1 had 6th and 7th place qualifiers and Mulisha teammates Jeremy Lusk and Todd Potter going against each other. Potter almost wadded up on an under rotated Kamikaze Flip, while Lusk had a solid run and knocked Potter out of the contest. Twitch made his way through the bracket to the three-man final with Mat Rebeaud and Nate Adams.
Twitch threw down a huge run to best Rebeaud, while Adams didn’t even get a a chance to ride as he thought he had a flat tire on his first jump and pulled off the course. Congrats to Twitch on the win and a cool 30 G’s in the bank!
